Season 1 - Episode 4

Selene POV

My magic shimmers around us as our feet touch the ground outside of camp. Before I can speak though, a scream rips through the silence. Rick, Daryl, Stella, and I take off in a sprint, only thinking of the kids while the others follow. The scene we stumble upon is a gruesome one. There are many campers dead, with a hoard of freaks running around, feasting on their remains and some chasing the few left alive. My eyes shift purple immediately and within seconds, the hoard is in ashes. My eyes scramble to the bodies, praying Asteria, Anubis, Atlas, Regulus, Carl, Sophia, or Amy wasn't among them. Just because my babies can't be turned doesn't mean they can't get hurt.

"Momma!" I swivel around to see my babies running my way. I meet them half way with open arms and hug them tightly. "Oh my babies! I was so worried, are you alright? Are Atlas, Regulus, Sophia, Amy, and Carl okay too?" The kids nod yes, with clear annoyance at my worrying. I frantically check over them, only satisfied once I see they're both completely okay. I then see Atlas, Regulus, Carl and Sophia out of the corner of my eye, releasing the twins I motion the kids over. They run towards me and pull them into a tight hug, before checking them over as well. Stella grabs Sophia, Atlas, and Regulus tightly with tears brimming her eyes. "Oh Soph (pronounced so-ff), Reggie, Atlas baby, I thought I lost you again" she murmurs.

"Are you two okay?" I ask Carl, Atlas, Regulus, and Sophia. They nod back and I smile down at them. "Good, I have something for you all. These are weapons only to be used in dire situations but I think everyone needs something." I use my magic to pull out four Vibranium, nail-studded bats like the twins and pass them to Carl, Atlas, Regulus, and Sophia. Carl takes it with a wide smile while Sophia looks a bit apprehensive. Atlas and Regulus both pick theirs up as pretend to swing, getting familiar with their weapons. They both thank me with soft smiles and I ruffle their hair.

    Sophia still hasn't taken her bat but Stella nudges her to take it and she does. "Anubis and Asteria could help teach you some moves if you'd like? They also know how to use a bow and arrow and sword if you're interested in that too. Of course, I would be teaching you those since they're more advanced." All of the kids nod happily, before giving me a quick hug. Stella smiles brightly at me and kisses my cheek while Atlas and Regulus give me tight hugs before taking off with my twins. Carl runs over to his clearly angry mother but Rick looks somewhat appreciative. Logan just stands beside them with a blank face.

   Sophia stays beside me as Carol approaches and I pass another bar to Amy. Andrea sends me a thrill smile and walks off with Shane. "Thank you so much! You really are our hero." Carol gushes at me. I smile with a slight blush on my cheeks. "It's not problem, honestly" I say with a smile. Carol smiles nervously before biting her fingernails "so uh do you mind teaching me as well? And maybe Stella? I want to be able to protect my babies. Our babies. We have to survive" Carol says with teary eyes. I nod with a small smile "I would love to help train you both or anyone else for that matter-"

     I'm cut off by Lori, once again not minding her business. "Are we not going to talk about the fact that she has powers?! She's obviously dangerous and so are her kids!" My eyes narrow on her and she gulps, taking a step back. The remaining campers Andrea, Shane, Amy, Dale, Logan, Daryl, T-dog, Merle, Glenn, Eos, Carol, Stella, Sophia, Atlas, Regulus, Carl, and even Rick look at Lori with 'what the fuck' faces. "She literally just saved the rest of us, including my baby sister who would have been dead if not for Shane and Selene's powers!" Andrea yells out as Stella yells a 'yeah' in agreement, causing Lori to wince backwards.

I let out a little giggle, catching Eos' eye before she starts giggling too. Stella starts laughing as well, making Sophia laugh. The others look at us weirdly before slowly, everyone joins in. The laughter quickly turns to tears and we all hold onto our loved ones. I wipe the tears from my face, pushing down my feelings for a few minutes. "I'm so sorry that we couldn't save most of the camp.. but I am glad you all are safe. I think we need to stay together from now on" I say with a light smile. "I also think we need to move first thing in the morning but we need something more reliable" I say, flicking my wrist to the left. A large cloud of purple smoke fills the air before dissipating, leaving a large semi and a few vehicles in its wake.

The outside

I turn back around to see the others looking at me with wide eyes. I smile sheepishly and clear my throat. "So these vehicles are magically powered, meaning they won't run out of gas or have any mechanical problems. The RV has four levels as of now, even if you can't see it but it can keep adding levels without any problems. As of now the only people who get their own level though, is my family including my mates, the kids, and my mates families. No one is allowed on our level unless you have permission. The others will have the same thing but I will allow them to invite people in."

    I see Lori about to snap so I continue "and my magic won't allow you in if you have ill will towards any of us. Only those with true intentions will be able to enter the RV. I will eventually put a spell on it so no one without good intentions can see it either. But anyways, this RV is a privilege so if you can't act right or pull your weight around camp, you're out of the RV. Be respectful, kind, and patient and we won't have any problems. Any questions?" I raise my brow with a huff.

Everyone's hands shoot up and I giggle, "anything about the actual RV?" Only Glenn and the kids hands are still raised. "Glenn?" He smiles and steps up "so what about food and water?" I nod my head "good question! The RV is stocked unlimitedly with food, water, toiletries, towels, blankets, medical kits, medicine, and even clothes. Literally anything you can think of or want is in there!" I say with a bright smile. The others are slowly inching closer to the semi and I smirk. They can't wait to see it. Another point for Selene.

     Carl waves his hand in the air catching my attention. "Yes Carl?" He smiles "is there a kids space? Like with tv's, video games, and toys?" Sophia, Anubis, Atlas, Regulus, Amy, and Asteria all look at me with wide eyes. I laugh at them before shaking my head yes "there is a media room full of video games, movies, snacks, books, and toys. There are even six different tv's and consoles so you can play a game together." I turn to the adults "there are also systems, large TV's, and movies in each bedroom as well. Now let's go check this thing out!"

We approach the front door but I stop before anyone can enter and push my magic into the RV. It shimmers  dark black before returning to its normal color, as if nothing was different. "So this place is protected by my magic and will not let anyone in with bad intentions. I can also make it to where you're not allowed in if you can't behave." I stare at Lori, Logan, and Rick for the last part. Rick looks shameful while Lori and Logan just turn red.

    I open the black door to reveal a lavish living room. The couches are a dark leather that contrasts with the white, fluffy pillows on them. There's a huge tv on the wall above a beautiful grey fireplace. We walk further into the semi and see the kitchen. It's enormous with white counters and dark cabinets that match the couches. There are two fully stocked fridges and one deep freezer. I pull out a Red Bull and start drinking it as the others just watch me. "What? I've been running on no sleep for almost two days, give me a break!" I huff out while Daryl slings his arm around me with a smile. Stella grabs my Red Bull and takes a swig, sighing "oh how I missed these." Rick chuckles and shakes his head at me "I swear you run off of spite and caffeine alone." Everyone turns to him and his cheeks flame red but I smile at him and shrug.

Merle walks past us and grabs a beer from the fridge before sitting down on the couch and watching an old rerun of Duck Dynasty. "Figures you would pick that, ya redneck!" I say with a chuckle. He just smiles and raises his beer to me "you've got ta be the best damn woman Daryl's ever met!" Merle says before his attention goes back to the tv. Stella scoffs then pouts beside me. Daryl and I both kiss her cheeks making her turn red.

I smack the back of Merle's head and state "be nice to my Stella darling" before walking over to the stairs and going up to the next level. I stop on the second level and ward the door to the third and fourth floor. Now no one's coming in without my permission. Then I open the door for level two, revealing another lavish living room. This one has dark grey couches with accents of wood and lots of vegetation. The couch is covered in decorative pillows and silky blankets. The kitchen connects directly to the living room through a large island that has several bar stools. This kitchen is a bit smaller but still have everything you need, including a fully stocked fridge and freezer.

I open the first couple of doors showing them what will be Rick and Lori, Glenn, T-dog, Dale, Logan, and Merle's rooms. I then open the last two doors, one being the shared bathroom and the other being another media room. (Like the one on the first floor) I then gather everyone and walk back to the front of the second floor, through the living room and press a red button beside the door. Then I open it to reveal a balcony with a large table and chairs. "Now you can go outside without the threat! So what do you guys think?" I ask. Everyone nods before disappearing into their rooms. Well minus Merle since you can still hear his gruff laugh from downstairs. "Okay now unto the third floor, for the kids, Angel, Shane and Andrea, and Carol" I say making my way back to the stairs.

By the time we make it to the next floor, the kids are bouncing around with excitement. As I approach their room, I open the door slowly for for a big room reveal. Which reveals ten bunk beds and a large tv. Each bunk has their own tv plus closet spaces and room for books or a toys. Thanks to magic, they have plenty of room in the tier wise tiny room. The kids and Amy claim their beds while we continue on. I open the next few doors showing Carol, Shane, Andrea, and Angel their rooms (same as the others and everyone has their own bathroom). Everyone seems happy, especially Carol who has tears in her eyes. "Thank you!" She says before bringing me into a hug. I hold her tightly before releasing her and wiping her tears away. "It's no problem at all, just let me know if you or Sophia need anything okay?" She nods before going to check on the kids.

Daryl and Stella follow me to the fourth floor, ours only. There is another living room similar to both the first and second floor. Dark couches, large tv, and small but nice kitchen. I open the door to the left, revealing and extra room and then the one to the right, an art and gaming room. Stella and Daryl both smile before dragging me to our door at the end of the hall. I nudge Daryl to open it and when he does, his jaw falls open. I giggle and close his mouth, "don't want to let a fly in!" I wink at him before settling on our large white bed. Stella has the same expression but she quickly snaps out of it and jumps onto the bed with me.

"Wanna break in the new bed?" I ask with a smirk. Daryl licks his lips before closing and locking the door. He slowly walks over to Stella and I. He gently pushes me back into the bed then doing the same with Stella. His strong arms wrap around the both of us before he looks into my eyes. "You two are the most amazing women I've ever met" he rasps, his breath tickling my neck as he leaves a trail of kisses. He switches from my neck to Stella's, causing her to let out a light moan. "Oh Daryl" she whispers. My eyes take in her body, rolling into Daryl as his lips trace her neck.

I bite my lip before guiding her lips to mine, kissing her hard and slightly taking her lip in between my teeth. She lets out a squeak and I smirk into the kiss. Stella's tongue fights with mine and Daryl kisses down the two of us. He sucks down my neck, leaving little ice bites here and there. His kisses start getting harder and more rough as he trails up to my mouth. I part from Stella, slightly panting before running my hands through Daryl's hair and pushing his lips to mine.

A jolt of pleasure runs through me as his hands dance on my skin. I let out a small moan, making Daryl push his body against mine. Stella begins to kiss down both of our necks and Daryl slides her in between us without breaking our kiss. Stella pulls on his waistband, her hand sliding down his pants and I pause wanting in on the fun. I bite my lip and lightly trail my hand down his chest before kissing right on his hips. His knees buckle as Stella firmly grips his manhood and I continue to suck down his waistband.

Just as Daryl's taking off my shirt, a loud knock sounds out. "Fuck" Daryl growls out before yanking my shirt back on me. I re-button Stella's shirt and she kisses my cheek in thanks. Daryl takes a pillow and stuffs it in front of him, trying to hide the obvious boner in his pants. I then flick my hand, opening the door to see Rick with a red face "Um, we are all on the first floor making dinner and talking about our future plans if you three want to join." He scratches the back of his neck and anxiously messes with his t-shirt.
I smirk at him, noting that he won't look any of us in the eye. He must have felt us through the bond. Which means he's already started leaning our direction.

I walk towards him then trail a finger down his chest and lightly bite my lower lip before looking up at him through my lashes. "Oh thank you Rick, I guess Dar, El, and I can finish what we started later." Daryl and Stella smirk with me as Ricks face turns red "I um, I-" Rick sputters before I cut him off. "I know, you're married and blah blah blah. But whenever you're ready for your actual soulmates, we will be here." I gently kiss his cheek before turning back to my mates.

I grab Stella and Daryl's hands before pulling them towards stairway door. I stop sharply though before opening the door, making Stella almost fall over. "Wait, how did you get in here?" I ask Rick. His brows furrow and he shrugs his shoulders "I just opened the door and walked in.." I look at Daryl and Stella with a small smile that they both reciprocate, understanding what that means. He'll be with us in no time.

   We walk down the steps and I take in the scene. Asteria, Anubis, Atlas, Regulus, Carl, Sophia, Amy, and Merle are playing video games on the tv with wide smiles. Carol, Lori, Angel, and Andrea are in the kitchen making dinner and drinking wine. While Glenn, Dale, Logan, and T-dog are drinking beers on the enclosed patio. I smile as I watch Rick and Daryl go over to the boys and grab a beer. While Stella grabs my hand and pulls me to the kids. This. This is what our life should be. Having fun, no worries. This is how it should be all the time.

But life has a way of disappointing us, doesn't it?

Authors Note: soo the smut was a bit random but I think I nailed it. I also loved the dynamics this chapter. I swear this is one of my favorite books. I can't wait for more family time. Plus next chapter will move into forming relationships :)
