District 3 Male- Killian Shalore'en

Name: Killian Shalore'en (Pronounced Shah-lore-ae-en)

Age: 15

District: 3

Gender: Male

Appearance: Slightly above average height, very thin and visibly not athletic at all. Has messy, unkempt brownish blondish (a little browner than dirty blond) hair that is still short in the sense that it does not hang off the head, but will soon without a good cut. Chewed nails (SEVERELY chewed nails.) Eyes that are between blue and gray, with streaks of brown cutting through them.

Personality: A bit slow to trust, but very kind and loyal to friends. He is extremely intelligent and resourceful, and uses his mind to solve problems. He also has a creative side to balance his logic, and can act as two entirely different people. One side of him is logical, calculating, intelligent, and calm, but acts superior, arrogant, and believes himself to be above the incompetent fools of the world (which is most people.) The other side of him is gentle, passionate, caring, creative, and a dreamer, yet can't do much when things go wrong and is usually lost in thought. He is almost never able to see through both of these lenses and act as both. It's not MPD or anything, just a difference in actions depending on circumstances.

Background: Killian was raised as the son of two of the richest people in district three, two of the most inventive innovators of the century. Killian gained their brains, but disapproved of their superior attitudes and aristocratic lifestyle, so he ran away and vowed to make his own way in the world. Of course, his lack of experience meant that he almost starved, resorted to theft of food, and was swiftly arrested. That however, didn't stop him from being reaped...

Strengths: Intellect, charisma, creativity

Weaknesses: Lack of survival skills, arrogance, troubled past

Weapon: Cannot fight/doesn't like fighting. His best weapon is his mind, or an extension of it, such as an invention or even a cell phone. His words can be a weapon as well. But, if he had to pick a "conventional" (*sighs with distaste*) weapon, he would pick a short sword, as it is light but lethal with not much effort. It's the best option for someone with no fighting skills.

Token: A golden bracelet with the stone being an ancient rune made of sapphire that means "knowledge."

GAMEMAKER REACTIONS

"To be honest,I think that real life experience is what makes a true difference in someone's life." Annabeth nods.

"Eh, sometimes it makes a negative affect instead of positive though." Tris says as her eyes scan throughout Killian's profile.

"I never mentioned anything about if it was good or bad. I stated that real life experience makes true life differences, not if it was good or bad." Annabeth rolls her eyes at Tris, smirking.

"Yea? Well your tone made it sound like you were trying to say it was positive. Actions speak louder than words honey." Tris shoots back with a glare but with a slight tease.

Artemis Fowl who was in the corner of the room the whole time, steps out of the shadows and says like the conversation before never happened, "I'm very interested in how Killian uses his mind against his enemies. For instance it says cell phone. How would he use it against his enemies? Would he do something physical to it, like using the phone to electrocute the other tribute, wire it to explode? Not that there would be cell phones. Maybe something similar to it though..."  He turns away, rubbing his chin, brain wires coming to life, whirring at a fast speed.

"I wonder how Killian would know how to hold weapons properly if he doesn't use them. Much." Annabeth frowns, tapping her chin, deep in thought.

"Not to mention how smart or educated he is. Does he have a smart brain because he found out this stuff by himself ? Is his brain is naturally like this or did he have lots of education? I'm not sure. But one thing to be sure. This tribute seems a little... nerdy. Don't you think Annabeth? I mean its not always going to be mechanical stuff during the Hunger Games. In the end it's probably going to be physical stuff anyway." Tris shrugs.

"No, not really. Even strength has to bow down to wisdom sometimes." Annabeth counters seriously.

"Eh. Think what you want. Plus how would knowing equations be better than knowing how to throw a punch properly? Exactly. It's not better." Tris challenges Annabeth.

"Really stiff? It's pretty sad that you don't see how it's better but you know, do what you want, I don't care." She waves her hand dismissively, stands up, and shuts the door behind her as she left.
