The Task List

Ladies and Gentlemen, here it is, the last chapter of this fantastic competition, requested by you: The compilation of all the different tasks you might have encountered during your time with us. Honestly, this is a lot more than we thought there were, and getting them all from our notes/outlines took much longer than expected. If any mistakes were made on this list regarding what task relates to what choice, please bear with us. We've tried to organize to the best of our ability. But here we are! So, if you're ready, take a gander down below at all the stuff you just barely missed. (Tasks that were given to you have been underlined for your convenience.)

TASK ONE

The same for all tributes.

TASK TWO

If Red was chosen in Task One: The Arena would be a tundra. The color red symbolizes the three red signal flares given to the tribute before they enter.

If Yellow was chosen in Task One: The arena would be an island. The color yellow symbolizes the bright sand and the sun overhead.

If Blue was chosen in Task One: The arena would be a desert. The color blue symbolizes the blue sky above the tributes.

If None of the above colors were chosen: The tributes rise on an erupting volcano and are forced to head underground.

TASK THREE

In the Red arena, choice Fauna would give: Snow flowers. Small blossoms that spread rapidly across the snow and freeze anything their petals come in contact with.

In the Red arena, choice Flora would give: Direwolves. A large pack of the creatures that would send out a singular scout to chase you towards the remainder of the pack.

In the Blue arena, choice Fauna would give: Dust Devils. Huge spiky plants with flowers that burst open with any movement to release toxic hallucinogenic spores.

In the Blue arena, choice Flora would give: An army of poison-spitting lizards. Very quick, very fast, very vicious. The only way to get rid of them is to kill the queen in her nest.

In the Yellow arena, choice Flora would give: Large, creeping vines that behave similarly to boa constrictor/venus flytrap hybrids. The tendrils wrap around ankles and legs to drag back to the base root for digestion.

In the Yellow arena, choice Fauna would give: Different strains of Jabberjays. Each color represents a different tactic to throw competitors off guard before they move in for the kill.

TASK FOUR*

In the Red arena, choice Light would give:  A massive blizzard that forces the tributes underground into small burrows throughout the arena. Below the surface, hot pools of wax disguise themselves as hot springs.

In the Red arena, choice Dark would give: The one and only banquet task offered in the Games. Happens during the night, with a supermoon for light.

In the Blue arena, choice Light would give: Tribute suffers from extreme dehydration. Hallucinations begin that grow progressively more intense due to Gamemaker aid until they drive you crazy or you find water.

In the Blue arena, choice Dark would give: The sun does not rise in the morning, keeping the desert in a suspended state of night. Something wakes in the arena because of this, calling out to the tributes.

In the Yellow arena, choice Light would give: Tribute wakes up in the middle of the night to find that the forest is on fire around them.

In the Yellow arena, choice Dark would give: A toxic gas is released that affects the island immediately. This plague creates intense blistering, hallucinations, and much more.

TASK FIVE

Song tasks for everyone!

TASK SIX**

*In this task, the choice that did not win the majority in Task Four is used.

**This is the only task where the majority does not matter, but the individual choice does.

In the Red arena, if choice Light remains, choice Above would give: Tributes will receive medical assistance for any injuries sustained thus far.

In the Red arena, if choice Light remains, Below would give: A landslide that traps the tributes below ground.

In the Red arena, if choice Dark remains, choice Above would give: Tributes will not receive their banquet item, but someone else's.

In the Red arena, if choice Dark remains, choice Below would give: Tributes will become lost in the snow, stumbling upon the remains of already killed tributes, one of which has their banquet item in their hands.

In the Blue arena, if choice Light remains, choice Above would give: Tributes will be given an opportunity to be relieved from their thirst. If they kill one of their allies, the sponsors will give them water.

In the Blue arena, if choice Light remains, choice Below would give: Tributes will become violently ill and incredibly weak. Someone from their past speaks to them through hallucinations.

In the Blue arena, if choice Dark remains, choice Above would give: The creature that calls out to them will approach, and take the form of someone they have wronged. It will try to kill them.

In the Blue arena, choice Dark remains, choice Below would give: The creature will offer tributes a deal. They can be relieved of the arena if they name someone from home to take their place.

In the Yellow arena, if choice Light remains, choice Above would give: Tributes will have advanced knowledge of the flames. However, one of their allies will not. They must choose one person to sacrifice.

In the Yellow arena, if choice Light remains, choice Below would give: Tributes will have the opportunity to find the bunker below the Cornucopia. However, something down there is not happy to be found.

In the Yellow arena, if choice Dark remains, choice Above would give: Tributes will not become infected with the virus, but they will have to interact with it.

In the Yellow arena, if choice Dark remains, choice Below would give:  Tributes have become infected and must deal with the symptoms. Only someone else's blood will stop it.

TASK SEVEN

In the Red arena, choice Life would give:  Tributes must return to the Cornucopia, alone, where they will be pronounced the winner by a woman in white. She will try to kill them as soon as they are within her grasp.

In the Red arena, choice  Death would give: A cabin will appear in the snow where all of the tribute's loved ones, dead or alive, are waiting. They will try to force the tribute to stay with them.

In the Blue arena, choice Life would give: Tributes will wake up not in the desert, but in an interrogation setting. They will be forced to repent for any wrongs they have done.

In the Blue arena, choice Death would give:  A mirage in the desert promises the tributes whatever they desire most. Staying there, however, will kill them.

In the Yellow arena, choice Life would give:  Tributes will wake up not on the island, but in an identical version of their home in the districts. They will be confronted by someone from home and forced to kill that person.

In the Yellow arena, choice Death would give: Sirens lurking in the water beneath the coves try to lure the remaining tributes to their deaths.

TASK EIGHT

In all arenas, choice Torture would give: The Victor must give a speech/eulogy to the Capitol for the fallen tributes, and their victory.

In all arenas, choice Torment would give: Tributes will show us their dying moments after they won the Games.

**

And that's it! That's all there is! Will we be using any of these tasks in future games? Maybe! You'll just have to come back and find out, won't you?
