INTRODUCTION

Okay, let me start off by saying this is the seconds games to the 'Author Games' series. No, you do not have to go through and look at the first one, but it does give some good hints on how we do things around here. In saying this, 'Author Games: Retribution' was the first games that I, TheRandomBookLion had ever hosted in my entire life and have learned some things and experiences for this one.

In the last games I was Head Game Maker Wisteria Wiles, she has now became the Host, and given her spot up to Cadelon Anthromis. Yes, this is written in a semi story format, as we have little mini stories that explain some things.

Anyways, on to these games and what to expect. If you've read the blurb, you know that Cadelon just loves his precious little flowers, correct? You can expect there to be a big part of that in these games...

My Co-Game Makers, lostwithmyfriends, Tender Exilo (yes, the tea crazed maniac is back if you remember him from last round) and somebodyouusedtoknow, Odysseus Arnórr who is new around here and is still learning all the ins and outs.

Yes, Rycotta Delwig has left us but that doesn't mean she might not show up. Although I have traded in my Game Makers, since Wisteria is now the Host, don't expect her to go easy on you. Also Character Reservations will be on SUNDAY OCTOBER 4TH STARTING AT 6:00 AM EST

RULES

These are apparently always needed... So I might as well put them up. Read them carefully because they have been modified from last round.

1. Don't argue with the other tributes. I get the fact that there will possibly be tension because after all this is a competition, right? Just don't take it overboard and harass each other outside the games because then I will personally make sure you end up dying a heck of a death.

2. Rallying and ganging up on a tribute is... Okay. I see this a lot in other stories where it's wrong. Just keep it in the books. If you, and all your allies decide to take out, let's say District 5 as a team strategy? Go for it! But in the end they'll be put up for a vote. So, don't take it personally when really it doesn't mean too much. We'll highlight that later.

3. Don't be a sore loser. If for any reason you end up dying or get kicked off for any reason, don't get all mad and kick things around. Accept that you made it as far as you did and celebrate everything you accomplished.

4. Follow all the formatting correctly. Yes, we will be doing an E-mail since it makes thing easier on all of us. The Game Makers, the tributes, everyone. This will be picked up later.

5. If you don't put your ballots and deaths at the end of your entry, they do not count and will not be used. Of course, that character is dead in your story from then on, but as you'll find out soon enough, deaths and ballots decide a lot of things for the rankings.

6. Expect there to be a big chapter on how we decide scores. This was a big hassle last round and we're about done with it.

7. When we vote off tributes, please don't make a big dramatic scene if you are on the board. Even if you do end up getting voted off completely, do you really want to go out without your pride?

FORMATTING

This is always a hassle no matter what, so I'll try to explain it as easy and as quick as I can. First of all, NO DOCUMENTS, it messes up the spacing and you don't want that.

First off, if you have a google mail, this will be much easier. If you don't, follow along and go about this in the best of your abilities:

Font: Georgia/ Serif/ Garamond/ Times New Roman
Size: Normal
Color: Black/ Dark Green/ Dark Blue/ Dark Purple/ Dark Red

For the message part, IF you post a little note or something separate it with a little "~~" Example:

Entry!

After you post you initial entry, please include all the deaths in entry. Each round, I will specify how many deaths and how many ballots will be in each, along with a word count. Again, separate it with the "~~" and please write it like so:

(Of course, those won't be the characters you'll be competing against.)

OTHER

These are the main things that should be done in all AND every task, EXCEPT when turning in your Character Form. That will be on a different chapter, so please stay tuned and alert. If you plan on doing this, please follow this account/add this to your library to receive updating alerts.

Also, for past tributes who've decided to come join us for a second round. Do NOT play the same character. As I said before, this sorta is like a story/contest. We'll have flashbacks to the previous rounds and I thought it'd be really cool to have passed tributes sorta be like mentors. Winners or not.

That is still in the works so don't expect it.
