Name: Elswyth, daughter of Idessa

Appearance: With the pale skin and long brown hair common to Lirima, Elswyth enjoys playing with her appearance. Her hair hangs in a thick braid halfway down her back, into which she weaves flowers and an occasional leaf to match her eyes. She is pretty, but not exceptionally so. Although she prefers the heavy, practical clothes of her homeland, Elswyth ends up wearing her white linen Guardian robes in the heat of her tropical home.

Personality: Elswyth is sunshine incarnate. A child in her soul, she enjoys making friends and giving hugs. Of course, all that changes when there's a job to do. Although she would prefer if no one noticed, her rapport with animals and monsters alike is without equal. Buried under a layer of over-exuberance and giggles is a truly powerful young wizard, even though the unperceptive might find it hard to take her at face value. When it comes to her magic, Elswyth becomes deadly serious- or just plain deadly.

Appearance: With coppery skin, aristocratic features, and long black hair, Cyprus still looks every inch the Vasileian nobleman. His hair is normally pulled back into a complex braid as a sign of status, and cool gray eyes will turn bright red when he channels magic. His fingers are long, slender, and precise in every movement- unsurprising, as he uses them for communication and the subtle art of spellcasting. He is the tallest of the Guardians.

Personality: For one so silent, Cyprus manages to convey a heavy dose of sarcasm. He's generally pragmatic, and calm, though he has little patience when it comes to things he considers foolish or inappropriate. Cyprus is snide sometimes and just awkward the rest, although normally his comments are only made public if Miyu decides to translate them. Some people, especially Elswyth, find him difficult to understand- and that's not even bringing the muteness into consideration. He shares a fairly close bond with Miyu, the only person who can understand his sign language.

Appearance: From a southern city in Craorag, Tigaern has dark brown skin and black eyes, as well as the traditional bright red hair of Craora citizenship. He's aged fairly gracefully, with lines in his forehead and cheeks becoming slowly more prominent over time. He is the oldest Guardian, with years of experience behind him.

Personality: One word that would never be used to describe Tigaern is moderate. He's always shooting from one extreme to the next, easily going from boisterous and jovial to deathly serious and plotting. A usually friendly fellow with a gleeful, vaguely sadistic sense of humor, he somehow manages to combine avid desire for friends with a distinct unconcern for human life. Tigaern is a master of sass and shares a love/hate relationship with Miyu.

Appearance: Miyu has the light brown skin and almond eyes common to most of Aavayoh. Her hair is pure white, a side effect from the backlash of a mispronounced spell when she was still learning nominomancy. It is cut in a short style so it could never blow into her mouth at a critical moment. Although the shortest Guardian at only 5'2'', Miyu has the most raw magical power.

Personality: Confident and collected, Miyu is the de facto head of the Guardians (technically it's Tigaern, but he's happy to leave the work to Miyu and focus on more interesting subjects.) Years of careful, precise speech have whittled her into a woman of few words, albeit carefully chosen and effective ones. She has a very dry sense of humor, and prides herself on a sense of honor and fairness in everything she does. Like Cyprus, she has little patience for foolishness.
