Appearance: Nothing short of breathtaking, Mari's smile captures her personality perfectly. Her dark hair is always kept short as it is easier to take care of. While it naturally falls into waves, they are too frizzy for her liking and so she uses just a bit of magic to spruce it up a bit. Her body is long, particularly her legs, which pack powerful muscles. Although she is extremely slim and is often thought to be malnourished, she probably eats more than three teenage boys combined. 

Personality: As a member of the House of Gryffindor, if you were to only look at her basic characteristics, Mari would be considered brave, bold, chivalrous, daring, and courageous. While those qualities do describe part of who she is, Marielle is much more then the stereotypical Gryffindor. She grew up on a quiet farm in the English countryside learning to take care of animals from a young age. This practice translated to kindness and sympathy in the presence of others, her amiable and generous personality visible from the moment she smiles. She hates seeing others hurt, and rarely becomes angry. Her quiet and lonely upbringing created a thirst for adventure, for seeing the world and its many wonders. She loves learning about anything and everything. She particularly enjoys her Care of Magical Creatures Class. Even though she is a Gryffindor, the Sorting Hat very nearly placed her in Ravenclaw.
