Appearance: At first glance, some may find it difficult to tell whether or not Valdís is male or female. Her dark brown hair is cut short so that it hangs across one side of her head stylishly, and her usual attire is consisted of tight denim jeans and camisole or t-shirt. Colorful tattoos adorn her tanned body, covering most of her right arm and hand, though her neck, hip and upper chest have also been tattooed. Her eyes are a shade of dark grey combined with blue – a rare and beautiful color – and she has a habit of wearing a multitude of heavy jewelry such as necklaces, dangly earrings, silver watches and bracelets. Standing at a tall 5'11", Valdís is undoubtedly an imposing figure, especially with her muscled arms and shoulders, effects from years of working out. 

Personality: Valdís' name is a famous one in Durmstrang, but for all the wrong reasons. Though she is certainly bright, processing an uncanny talent in the subject of Defense against Dark Arts, she is your typical bad girl, who smokes, drinks, cracks crude jokes, and spews out a multitude of curses on a daily basis. Her family and life before she was admitted into Durmstrang is not widely known, though many wonder what caused her to become this way. Her teachers shake their heads at her, while her fellow classmates look upon her with a mixture of disgust and awe, but Valdís continues on with her wild ways, unashamed and unabashed. She is not an evil rebel who practices the dark magic behind her superior's backs and kidnaps children, no. She is simply unorthodox, willing to take risks and color outside the lines. If someone disagreed with her opinions, well, there wasn't anything that she could do about it, and life goes on.
