Welcome to the first round of voting for Author Games: Sunlit Seas. Since Carrie Liu and Ishaan Thakkar have been so kind enough to die prior to voting, only three of you will be at risk for elimination. If this is your first time and you're unfamiliar with the rules to voting, feel free to check out the CTS Code of Conduct page for a brief explanation.

In addition, if you could stay tuned to the end, I would greatly appreciate it. There will be a poll to vote for as well.

Vote for the two characters you would like to see progress to the next task. Voting can be done either in the comment section or via PM to my account. Any votes containing more or less than the required number will not be accepted.

**IN ADDITION**

I'm having a poll to get a better feel for where most of us are in terms of not only time but also general motivation for the competition as a whole. This competition was meant to have a total of eight tasks, one of which would include a song task. However, I understand that most of you have a lot going on right now and as we progress, your availability may become a lot more uncertain. Therefore, I'm giving the option to cut one task out, and instead, have a total of seven tasks with the song task being more of a maybe.

Along with your vote, if you could also state your preference for eight tasks or seven tasks, I would greatly appreciate it. This will help me be more aware of where everybody's at in this point in time.
