"It's sad, really," Wisteria mocks into the camera off to her left. She spent most of the hours leading up to the Reaping going over all the technology, and making sure there were no glitches in the force field.

A mistake that only a fool could make twice.

Both Rycotta and Tender stare at her expectingly. It would only be a matter of seconds before she sent them off like dogs to fulfill last minute requirements. It was a struggle to just talk the President into letting her bring in some technicians from District 3, alone. So she sent Tender on a wild goose chase to collect and bring her only the best and worthy.

That would come later. It might be a game to keep the Districts from rebelling, but it's also a show. The more they'd struggle, the more she felt a sense of accomplishment. This was going to be the biggest arena in all the Hunger Games, and she was going to make sure to light a spark.

Rycotta dwells all her time into setting up the blood bath. The sweat that glistens on her forehead and trickles down her temple, only pushes her harder. She takes a deep breath and closes her eyes before tilting back. A shiver ran from inside her and came out in a abrupt fit of goosebumps, a wicked smile appeared. Looking down at the arena, simulating the reaction they'd have before everything turns to hell.

Prepare your tributes Ladies and Gentlemen. Things are only coming to a peak. This round you get a couple options as to what you'll be writing about. I suggest you take this into careful consideration.

Remember, only one becomes Victor in a pool of blood.

The Parade

Yes, this is your time to let your inner designer appear. Let this be your chance to show off just how creative and descriptive you can be. This extends to both the actual parade, and the preparation. We're very free for this choice. The only thing that is a requirement is for you to explain the process and the outfit they wore in grave detail. Did they get the chance to make allies? Talk to their fellow tributes? This doesn't have much to it, so make sure to focus on the minor things while still allowing your tribute to express their personality.

The Interview

If you haven't noticed, I added a little something extra at the top of each of your character forms. It's a quote from the Host, Vaelyn Xiavia. It is a requirement in this choice to include her in your story, also the quote that was put above your character. Apologies if you don't find it alluring but depending on how you betray her, she's both simple and extravagant. What she looks like, and acts, is up to you. The questions that you choose to answer are also free. This choice gives you the chance to give your tribute an attitude. Do they hide behind an innocent mask before slaying the arena? Or do they act intimidating and brute but can't even hold a sword correctly?

Word Count:

This rounds word count will be 1,600 words. If you extend past this, points will be docked and we-as the Game Makers-are not required to read past that point. So you better make sure to include all the details in that short word count listed.

This can either be threatening, or a gift from the heavens. I suggest that if you struggle with writing long chapters, or scenes, to write a rough draft of all the basic details. Then after that is finished, go back, tweak and edit.

Deadline:

The deadline for this round is: AUGUST 15th, 11:00 PM EST This gives you a full 6 days to complete your task. If you miss the turn in date, or are late, you will automatically receive a 0. This shows lack of interest and really gives a bad impression for yourself.

You will receive a confirmation message, telling you we received your entry. If you do not, make sure to nag us. There will be NO extensions, so if you work, or have a tight schedule at the moment, make sure to cut in some time to write.

Deaths and Ballots:

This round is strictly to choose the sponsors and give a name for yourself. If you write well, and go outside the box. You will be remembered. You will not have any deaths that count.

Sponsorship:

Wisteria Wiles is sponsoring one Tribute. Since she's the Head Game Maker, you'll receive unlimited word count each round, along with an extra death + ballot for every task, and comment on what to do better on next round.

Tender Exilo will be sponsoring 2 Tributes. They will each receive 3 extra deaths to use between each rounds and 1 automatic score of 11 to use on any task. Also, he will provide basic feedback to anyone who asks. It'll help barely, but you never know.

Rycotta Delwig is choosing to sponsor 2 Tributes. To follow the lines of her deadly silence, she'll be awarding 2 extra ballots each round and 1 in depth review that you can request at your leisure before the entry is due. 

I'd recommend reading over the Tributes they sponsor and try to get on their good sides.

Awards/ Extra Points:

As you know, a twelve is the highest score you can receive in any of the rounds. Extra points and rewards, give you more of a shot a being highest of that round, and possibly in your rank. If you have the highest score of that round, you will receive a Donation from a "Sponsor" if this is you, you'll find out what it is in the following round.

If you are highest in your ranking after the 3rd round, you will receive a special award that will be found out when the timings right.

Of course these won't be rewarded every round, maybe not at all. This is just a basic line for where you want to take your entry to the next level.
