Appearance: Dark hair that resembles the night sky for which her animal (the owl) roams, it reaches in long, flowing, locks to the centre of her back. She stands tall and proud, fine features on her face that give her the air of godly beauty- though in actuality she has little mind for it. Her grey eyes and small nose and lips cast her as someone who is revered. Her skin is the shade of olive that hangs from her sacred olive tree. Her hair is often braided ornately around her head, and she is rarely seen without parchment someone on her body.
Personality: Calculating yet kind, Athena is known for her knowledge. Her breadth of understanding and the yearning for it as well casts her as a conversation partner many would only come to for advice. Her words are precise and she looks at everything equally and without bias. Saying that, her skills come from her persistence for the truth- she shows mercy to those who deserve it, but justice shall always be served. In her heart, though, she is loyal and while she would never forego her judgment for someone she loves, she would be certain to give a helping word of advice to whomever may ask for it.
Brief History: Growing up the daughter of Zeus and Metis, she had many siblings, half-siblings, step-siblings, or other variations thereupon, as Zeus was known to not spare his love for one woman or man alone. Though Athena always shook her head at her father, she grew up on Mount Olympus, studying with the greats, to where she learned that solitary times were where her heart rested. She flourished with books and as she sat under an olive tree one day, she discovered an owl with a broken wing, to which she brought to the healer. The owl remained with her to this day.
She learned of strategy and battle and was soon renowned as the goddess of wisdom, knowledge, and strategy and has never let one of her counterparts down. Strong-willed, though her family often quarrelled, she was the one to step in and think logically instead of jumping to rash decisions like her father.
3 Godly Powers:
Her spear- Even renowned for her intelligence, she was still the goddess of strategic warfare, and while she would not mind a bow and arrow, her skills with the spear are unmatched.
Strategy- Her ability to discover patterns and future ploys are rarely met by any adversary. Careful and quick, Athena has the ability to strategize faster than men have time to battle.
Wisdom- Her ability to detect lies or hidden meanings within words is an asset, and while none of her Godly Powers are attributed to many strong Gods or Goddesses, this ability paired with her other powers makes her a contender for the most powerful yet understated Goddess.
1 Fatal Weakness: When the branch of an olive tree breaks due to battle, Athena falls- for no justice will prevail when wisdom and strategy are ignored.
Token: Her journal, in which she scribes her thoughts, new problems, and strategic plans. Inside the worn cover lay a quill and a bottle of ink which is hidden within a pocket of the journal.
