Task Five: Voting
Welcome back to voting! Because six of you were supposed to go up for votes, with four leaving us this task, but there is a tie for the sixth-to-last position, I've decided to put seven tributes up for votes instead in order to keep things fair.
Like the last task, the tributes at the bottom of the rankings have been put up for votes; now it's your turn to judge their entries and submit to me, via PM, who you think deserves to move on to the next round. This round, anyone who votes is required to provide an explanation of why they voted each tribute to move on. Please vote based on the quality of the entries, and not your friends or people you are biased towards. If I get any vibes of this, I may ask you to provide a deeper explanation of why you voted the way you did. Tributes up for votes may vote for themselves.
This round, the tributes at risk are:
<District 1 Female: Aroma Fastner (7.75)>
<District 2 Male: Mason Falkov (9.5)>
<District 6 Male: Train Wreck (7.75)>
<District 7 Female: Kaelyn 'Kaylee' Menorr (9)>
<District 12 Male: Blaze Orion (4.25)>
<District 13 Male: Xander McColl (9.5)>
<Capitol Female: Carmine Valerius (9.75)>
To ensure fair results from these votes and because ballots played such a role in the scores this round, the numbers you see next to each name are their initial scores, which are equivalent to the number of votes they will start with. Depending on the turnout of the votes this round, each vote will count for either 0.5 points or 1 full point. It is neither necessary nor recommended to base your votes off my scores; part of the point here is to express your own opinion on the entries.
Please vote for three of these tributes to move on to Task Six, also known as the Quarterfinals. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Voting will close on 12 February 2017, at 9pm EST (if you need this time converted into another timezone, please let me know).
