Personality: Gareth is hopeless in several ways. He is a romantic, seeing love in the colors of red and violet, seeing love in the eyes of many others. His prospects of joy are often laced to his heart, even though he has been alone for the majority of adult life. Gareth is also hopelessly depressed, pitting mood against itself as he smiles and frowns an equal amount of time. Something in his mind reiterates despair, though Gareth has learned to not listen, learned his position in the north means more than mere emotion. Now, Gareth Kors is stiff; still, he is hopeless. 

Background: Gareth and his father were close, so his early death brought early misery. For years, Gareth has wanted to share his minuscule success with the man, but grey ashes cannot respond. After the death, Gareth stopped opening up to people, closing his mouth as often as his thoughts, forgetting the true meaning of life and death. The one shimmer of hope is Caroline, as he vows to love her unconditionally, sleeping through the nights with an endless dream of her skin.
