Our leaders lie in mourning, unable to press forward.

News travels to rivals hungry for fresh blood.

The clan is weak.

The time to act is now. 

THE TASK :

Thank you all for sticking with us, even though our updates have been infrequent. Due to the illness of one judge and the midterms of another, we've been unable to get this task in motion. Hopefully beyond this point there will be no more interruptions.

A rival clan has invaded the territory once owned by Caroline and seeks to take control of it. Be aware that this clan is not like yours, they are violent, cruel, and unforgiving of trespassers. With that in mind, this task will revolve around the idea of Fight or Flight, and you will be given two options to choose from.

OPTION ONE: FIGHT

While the other clan members flee, you will volunteer to stay behind and try to protect the ones that are still too weak to move forward as the rival clan invades the final resting place of Caroline in order to fully seize control. This is an action-oriented option, similar to a bloodbath task. In this option, we expect to see members of both clans die, you cannot possibly save them all. 

OPTION TWO: FLIGHT

When word of the invasion reaches the clan, you will flee the city with the others to a safer location where you can grow strong again. The older clan members may be included in your entry, however they will have to be protected at any costs. They cannot die in your entry. This task will be more suspense-oriented. It will involve sneaking out of the city without being caught, fighting off rival clan members who do discover you, and possibly losing a few people along the way. 

DEADLINE:

Thursday, October 13th at 7pm PDT

SINBAD'S GIFT:

For this task, Sinbad has chosen to sponsor Apollo Finn and reward him with an automatic TWO HOURS EXTENSION to the deadline, making his entry due at 9pm PDT.

Side Note:

Thirteen of you we supposed to be in this task. However, only eleven of you are still in this competition. If you do not think you will be able to compete further, tell us now instead of later so that we can adjust the rest of the games accordingly. Please keep in mind that not handing in for these games is identical to dropping out. If we have too many eliminated in the next two tasks, we will either be unable to continue or have to severely alter the course of the games.
