Physical Appearance: Blythe is pretty, and she's well aware (some might say too aware) of that fact - it took a lot of work to look this way. She keeps a light but full face of makeup on her classically beautiful face, and her thin, smooth, beach-ready-all-year body is the result of the gym three times a week before class, a rigorous moisturizing routine, and easily-tanning skin (plus, a little extra tanning lotion never hurt anyone). Her hair routine alone takes half an hour in the mornings, but it's worth it for the thick brown hair that she tries to keep in a fashionable braid or messy bun. Blythe likes dressing in midi dresses with floral patterns or big sweaters, since they're in style and look good on her. Her friend Ky likes to joke that her big smile and dark green eyes are practically the only part of her she doesn't alter with makeup or a tiring workout, but she doesn't care what other people think about her need for beauty. It's her body, and she looks good in it, aside from her permanently-bitted nails, which she tries to keep out of site or concealed with fun nail polish or jingly bangles to distract from her short nubs.

Personality: Flirty, fashionable, and funny, Blythe seems to have it all together. She's usually never seen without a glint in her eyes and a grin on her face. Her easy laugh and friendly smile are what endears people to her, and her charmingly extroverted personality is always on the move. Blythe is an amazing actress, though, and this helps her hide her real emotions under her bubbly exterior. She often gets tired of being so cheerful all the time, and while she makes lots of friends, she doesn't have very many close ones, since it's hard for her to trust people. When she does trust someone, though, she trusts them fully, with her whole heart, and lets them see the real Blythe. She's not as bubbly as she seems underneath, and when she's alone or with Kylar, she has a tendency for sharp remarks, sailor-style swearing, and silliness - a good dose of laughter is always free.

Background: Blythe was always an adorable child, with ringlets of gold hair, chubby cheeks and a baby's full tummy. Her parents, rich from some business venture she never bothered to learned about, doted on their only daughter, giving her most everything she wanted, even when her sun-colored ringlets turned to untamable brown frizz and her baby fat didn't melt away. She went to private school for the first 13 years of her life, where no one cared what she looked like as long as she had the latest fashions, which was easy given her sizable fortune. In between the summers of 8th and 9th grade, though, when Blythe was transitioning from her private primary school to a public high school, she decided she needed a change, and started exercising and eating right, though it wasn't always easy. Her knack for makeup took longer, learning to tame her frizz took a lot longer, and it took almost three years for her not to look confused when people talked to her, but she's blossomed, and she likes her confident, pretty, popular self far more than she likes the anti-social chubby girl she once knew who went to private school and was just as bratty as the rest of those rich kids.

Of course, her best friend helped. She met Ky when she was undergoing her cocoon, as she calls it, and avoiding anyone her age who might see her in her in-between stages. Kite-fighting in a park an hour away from their hometown isn't exactly the scene that most thirteen-year-olds gravitate to, but Blythe was always one to follow her passions, even if they were strange. There, she met a boy named Kylar her own age, and they struck up a short friendship when Blythe let Kylar win their first fight and Kylar let Blythe win her second. After that, they parted ways, not expecting to see each other again, but the far reach of Riverside High School meant that both of them were in for a surprise when freshman US History had them in the same fourth period. Since they grew closer over that year and the rest of high school, they've been inseparable, and now that the two of them are done with their first year of college and beginning to be real adults, they're even closer in the real world.

Strengths: Blythe is pretty athletic from her time at the gym, and not one to back down from a challenge. She's good at making friends and not pissing people off, and her blend of flirty and friendly is enough to make most guys addicted to her, at least for a while. She's rather intelligent, but not super-genius smart, just enough book smarts to keep her at a solid B+ average. She's good at hiding her emotions and not letting things get to her, and her acting skills are better than anyone knows, other than Ky.

Weaknesses: She's not very trusting, and doesn't let people see past her first layer if they're not family or her best friend. She can be lazy, just like everyone else, and doesn't have much motivation to actually contribute to the world, since she doesn't have to work for her own pay. She's a bit spoiled and used to getting her own way, and she's often quick to judge other people who don't look like they have such a firm grasp on life as she does. Blythe also is lacking in some common sense and knowledge about the real world - there are some things you can't study. Blythe is also fully aware that that although she can act perfect, it doesn't last forever, and she's bound to crack one day.
