Appearance: He has platinum blond hair that's always brushed neatly back. His appearance is always put together and he often wears suits. His eyes are blue. He's always cleanshaven. As handsome as he is, people often sense that something's off about him, probably because of his magic.

Backstory: His parents introduced him to the world of magic early on in his life and he quickly took to magic. Fast forward years later and he's always around at important events, showing up uninvited to meetings, ect. He became a master of his magic. He never had a real goal, he just wandered about looking for the next interesting thing he could do. He tended to ghost from place to place without staying long. Then he met Eclipse. They were both at a party where a bunch of mages were supposed to be having a meeting. The two of them missed it while getting to know each other. Vex fell in love with Eclipse and the two started working together. Several years later, he proposed and she said yes. After that, they made plans to get him instated as Grand Mage and began working toward that goal.

Personality: He tends to annoy most people without meaning to. It's not like he tries- he's just naturally sarcastic and not nearly as good at hiding it as Eclipse is. He prefers to use the direct approach with things. If he's going to kill someone, he won't do something like poison them- he'll just kill them outright and hide the evidence that he was the one who did it. He doesn't care about people, besides Eclipse. They're just tools for him to use as he pleases. He lies constantly and doesn't have many morals. If he needs to do it in order to survive, it's acceptable. If he has to do it in order to accomplish his goals or just wants to do it for fun, he has no problem with it. He would have a major problem with anything that hurt Eclipse, however. If someone hurt her, he would kill them. He can be pretty sweet, but only around Eclipse.

Magic/Powers: He uses necromancy

Weapon of Choice: His magic, which is stored in a gold band he keeps on his finger.

Strengths: His magic allows him to use the energy from dead people and shape it to his will. It's a flexible way of fighting that he's very good at. When it comes down to it, he can annoy the most patient of people and likes to, just to mess with them. He considers it one of his 'best traits'. Comes in handy when fighting sometimes too. He and Eclipse fighting together make a formidable pair. They both know how to manipulate people and their skills with magic are excellent.

Weaknesses: His magic is weakened when there isn't and presense of death nearby. He's also just a little bit impulsive- especially when doing things for fun. He's also terrible at getting people to like him. Except for Eclipse, for some reason.

Captured: He and Eclipse were breaking into the Irish Sanctuary. They got through the door of the room they were headed for and walked out into a bustling street in New York. Needless to say, both of them were more than a little surprised. Their way back was gone and they were trapped in unfamiliar territory.

Greatest Fear: Losing Eclipse. She's the best thing in his life and the only person he ever truly loved. If he lost that, it would destroy him.

Insecurities: He often wonders if Eclipse loves him as much as he loves her. He knows she does- she's proved it many times- but doubts have a way of creeping up on a person and he can never fully shake the nagging feeling that she doesn't care about them as much as he does. It doesn't bother him much, but it's there in the background.

Loved Ones: Just his wife, Eclipse. Most everyone else he met either ended up dead or his enemy. He's just that kinda guy.

Anything Else: His name, like Eclipse's, isn't his real name. Instead, he gave himself the name he felt best described himself. Considering most people's dislike of him, he decided he was mostly vexing and thus named himself Vex.
