Character Form: Trevor Willis - deceased
Username: Several7s
Name: Trevor Willis
Age: 22
Gender: Male
Appearance: He has slightly wavy blond hair that he keeps grown out and brown eyes that are often staring out into space. He's only about five and a half feet tall and avoids formal clothing as much as possible, except for his uniform. There's a small tattoo of a flower on his shoulder from a dare, which is, unfortunately for him, permanent.
Backstory: He had a pretty normal life. His mother taught in the highschool he went to and his father is a cop. His life was very mundane until a fifteen year old girl stumbled into him one day. She stole his wallet and later, when he tracked her down and got it back, he managed to get a name from her. Midnight. He convinced her to let him help and slowly, her story came out. She'd run away from social services at ten and lived alone since then. He couldn't help feeling bad for her, so he convinced his parents to let her stay in their guest bedroom. Midnight wasn't keen to trust him- especially since his dad was a cop, but the two of them slowly got close. She stole his heart and, eventually, he stole hers. Or at least, he thought he did. A month after she admitted she had feelings for him, she disappeared. He never saw her again and it hurt him in a way he would never admit. He always believed the best about her, though. There must have been a good reason, he told himself, because she wouldn't just abandon him. His dad wasn't nearly so trusting, but she'd become a part of the family during the six months she'd been there and he knew both of his parents were hurt when she disappeared too. After he graduated from college, he became a forensic scientist and worked with his dad on the force. He still searches for Midnight in his spare time, but he tells himself it's just to make sure she's doing alright.
Personality: Trevor loves math and science. He's smart, but doesn't like to show it off. His father's constant reminders about not breaking the law have instilled a strong moral code in him. He would never hurt someone, but he's very protective of those he loves. He has a fierce side that people rarely see. When he loves someone, he doesn't do so half-heartedly. He'll make sure they know they're loved. His mind wanders a lot and if he's bored, he'll imagine ways to pull of different crimes and how to catch the person who did it. He tends to get focus on one thing at times and not let it go until he's figured it out or found something better to spend his time on. He'll get distracted easily if he doesn't have something to focus on.
Magic/Powers: N/A
Weapon Of Choice: He'd love to say he doesn't need one, but that's just not how the world works and he knows it. He keeps a gun on him most of the time, just in case.
Strengths: He's smart and good at analyzing a crime scene. If he has to, he can fight reasonably well. As distracted as he can sometimes get, he is also good at distracting other people. He'll talk about random things and keep them busy for a while if he wants or needs to. It can be helpful if a friend is trying to escape an awkward conversation.
Weaknesses: He tends to focus too much on one thing at times and ignores other things. He once spent three days working on a homicide without eating or sleeping, until he basically just crashed. He tends to keep all of his problems to himself and brood a lot. While he has friends and family he trusts enough to talk to, he won't tell him what's bothering him and tends to try to handle everything alone. He's often clueless about his surroundings- especially if he's focused about something.
Captured: It was midnight and he was working on another case after pulling two all-nighters already. He thought he was hallucinating when the portal opened. That is, until a small group of creatures pulled him through and dropped him in another realm. He ended up with a bunch of other people, running from dragons. And he was so close to cracking that case too...
Greatest Fear: Confronting a problem he can't solve. He constantly feels the need to prove himself- to show that he's good enough to do things on his own. To prove he doesn't need anyone else to help him. While he knows that it would probably be a good thing to be forced to let others help him out of a bad situation, he doesn't want to have to admit he needs the help. It's not even arrogance, so much as an unwillingness to allow others to think that he's weak.
Insecurities: He'll worry too much about what other people think of him. It's part of what drives him to constantly prove himself to everyone.
Loved Ones: His parents and Midnight, despite how often he tells himself he doesn't care about her like that anymore.
Realm They're From: Earth- USA
Fandom: Criminal Minds
Token: In his wallet, he keeps a double-sided picture. His parents are on one side and Midnight is on the other. He keeps it with him wherever he goes.
Anything Else: You wanna keep him busy, give him a hard case or a really difficult riddle. If he doesn't solve the riddle immediately, he might just shout the answer out sometime later when it occurs to him. He was probably working through it the whole time too, which is why he never answered you when you asked him if he was coming or not.
