Appearance: She has long golden hair that she keeps braided back. Her eyes are a deep brown color, like melted chocolate. She has a slim build and pale skin, with a stunning smile. Before she became 'the goose girl', she dressed in clothes befitting a princess. Now she dresses as the common folk do, with simple clothing and cheap cloth.

Backstory: As a child, she was betrothed to the Crown Prince of Bayern. When Seraphina came of age, her mother sent her, a small group of guards, and her handmaiden to travel to the prince's castle. She gave her daughter a handkerchief with three drops of her blood on it- a reminder that she would always protect her daughter. During the ride, Seraphina's handmaiden- Ceilia- befriended the guards and convinced them to kill Seraphina and pretend that Ceilia was the princess. Seraphina barely escaped them and fled into the forest. There, she dyed her hair black and went to seek work in the palace. She found a job guarding geese with a boy named Conrad, but didn't tell anyone her secret for fear that Cielia might find her and try to kill her again. She introduced herself by her middle name, Adele, instead of her first name, and did her best to blend in. As time went on, she grew to enjoy her job tending geese. More and more, she realized how little the royals truly cared for 'lowly servants'. She watched the man she was supposed to marry and found him to be no different. He, at least, did not laugh at her or scorn her simply because she was supposed to tend the geese, but she eventually decided she didn't like him. She was content to allow Ceilia to marry him and spent her days talking to the geese and Falada, whom she later found in the stables. Though most people didn't know it, Falada could talk and he was her friend through everything. When she needed someone to talk to, she trusted the horse to keep her secrets. When the curse hit and she was sent to Storybrooke, she became a handmaiden for Ceilia, who was a wealthy woman married to the crown prince. Seraphina didn't remember that she was supposed to be married to the prince and was content as a handmaiden for Ceilia. Later, when the curse was broken, Ceilia attempted to have Seraphina killed again, forcing her to flee into the forest. There, she joined Robin Hood's merry men and fell in love with a man named Aiden the Viper. He was quick and excelled with knives, so she asked him to teach her. He agreed and the two grew extremely close. He helps her to hide from Ceilia and protected her when all of the new villains came along.

Personality: Seraphina is kind and loves animals. She never enjoyed it when people bowed to her or tried to do everything for her. She grew up watching people do everything for her and never having to work for herself, so she finds immense satisfaction in doing things for herself. She has a strong fighting spirit and hates being pushed around. Seeing others get bullied angers her too and she'll always fight in any way she can to protect those who can't protect themselves.

Magic/Powers: She has the ability to speak to animals and understand their speech.

Weapon Of Choice: A daggar. Aiden taught her enough that she can defend herself with once if she needs to.

Strengths: She can speak to animals, which means that they can warn her if something bad is coming. She has passable skills with the knife. She's a great dancer, due to years of lessons, and her needlework is on point.

Weaknesses: Though she can defend herself with a daggar, she can't defend herself without one. She just isn't strong enough and can only do so much against a skilled attacker. She isn't used to doing things for herself all the time. Even though she enjoys it, she still doesn't have many of the skills that other girls might have. She never learned to cook and doesn't know how to clean clothes, among other things.

Captured: She was learning a new defense tactic from Aiden when a winged monkey dropped out of the sky and snatched her away. It took her to the edge of the town and then through the barrier. Except the other side of the barrier was not what it appeared. She was dropped into a strange new world and the monkey fled, abandoning her to her fate.

Greatest Fear: At first, she feared she would never be found and that she would have to live her life out as a goose girl, but as she saw how the royals acted around others and began to adjust to the freedom of her new life, her attitude changed. Now she fears being discovered and is content to allow her serving girl to take her place. She doesn't want to go back to a life she never truly enjoyed and the marriage she never wanted.

Insecurities: She became a servant girl who was either not noticed or was looked down upon. It gave her perspective in life, but it also made her wonder. If you can take a princess, put her in serving clothes, and have her work without anyone noticing, then what was society really? She didn't want to go back to a society of people who would look down on those who didn't have fancy clothes or clean skin. She worries that she used to think that way too and would go back to it if she became Princess Seraphina again.
