Character Form: Nolan Taylor - deceased
Username: Several7s
Name: Nolan Taylor
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Appearance: With dark blue eyes, black hair, and a lean build, you might not think he's much to look at. He's roughly five feet tall, loves leather jackets, and blends in with a crowd. He's the kind of person that you wouldn't notice in a crowd unless you knew to look for him.
Backstory: Nolan was born in London and spent the first eight years of his childhood growing up there with two older brothers and a little sister. His parents loved him, but his father wasn't used to showing it. He worked all of his sons, determined to make them strong and successful. Over time, Nolan became obsessed with becoming strong enough to make his father proud. However, that morphed into a fear of not being strong enough. One day, he wished he could just get away from it and go somewhere where he wouldn't have to deal with adults- somewhere he could just be a kid. A boy appeared in his window then and flew inside. He told Nolan his name was Peter Pan and offered to take Nolan to a place where he would be free of adults and never have to grow up. Nolan agreed readily and they went to Neverland. There he spent years honing his skills and befriending the other Lost Boys. They fought Hook often and the pirate's determination to kill Peter Pan made him a persistent nuisance. One plot, which Nolan foiled, involved stealing fairy dust from the fairies and using it to fly into the Lost Boys' hideout. Hook planned to kidnap the Lost Boys if Peter wasn't there and use them to get at Peter, but Nolan discovered the plot when he snuck onto the pirate ship to steal gunpowder. He found a group of fairies locked in a cage in Hook's office and freed them. One of them introduced herself as Layla. When the others left, Layla stuck around and became good friends with Nolan. Hook discovered Nolan had released the fairies and vowed to have his revenge. Eventually, he did. Hook set a trap for Layla and used her as bait to draw in Nolan. When he came to save Layla, Hook's men grabbed him and beat him until he could barely move. Then they forced him to watch as Hook killed Layla and dropped her body into the lake. Then Hook had Nolan thrown into the water as well. He would have drowned if a mermaid hadn't happened along and dragged him to shore. After that, Nolan decided to leave Neverland the first chance that he got. Everything there reminded him too much of his failure to save Layla. When Wendy and the other Lost Boys went home, Nolan went with them and disappeared in the streets of London. He never went back to his family, but he did check on his siblings every once in a while and made sure they always had enough food. Eventually, the guilt of failing Layla faded and he locked it deep inside him.
Personality: He's strong, but tends to overestimate his strength. He used to be the kind of person who would help someone who needed it, despite the consequences. Now he thinks of his own survival first, avoids attachments to people, and helps the people he loves only if it won't put him in danger. He doesn't speak much, but when he does his words are often laced with sarcasm or false kindness. He weaves words like an art, using them to scam people out of their money distract them long enough to get what he wants.
Magic/Powers: He can fly, if he has fairy dust.
Weapon Of Choice: He prefers to fight with his own two hands.
Strengths: He's great at martial arts, knows how to blend in with a crowd, and has become an expert with disguises.
Weaknesses: He tends to be arrogant at times, mostly when it comes to his skills. He's also very impatient and can't sit still. Since he spent so long around the lost boys with no girls around, he's very awkward around them.
Captured: While attempting to sneak inside someone's shed for shelter from a particularly harsh rain storm, he tripped over a black felt hat. Amazingly, he fell into it. The world went black and when he woke up, he wasn't in London anymore.
Greatest Fear: The law. He lives on the streets and is often forced to steal to survive. Being arrested and thrown in jail is the one thing that actually seems to scare him.
Insecurities: Deep down, he still feel the guilt of failure. He knows he could have saved her if he had just tried harder and it haunts him.
Loved Ones: After he lost touch with the other lost boys, he never found other friends.
Realm They're From: Neverland and London
Fandom They're From: Disney- Peter Pan
Token: A bag of fairy dust that was gifted to him by his best friend, a fairy he rescued from pirates.
Anything Else: You call him weak and he'll show you just how much his 'weak' punches can hurt.
