Character Form: George Trystan - deceased
Username: @Several7s
Name: George Trystan/ Apollyon
Age: 23
Gender: Male
Appearance: He has curly red hair that almost never does what it's supposed to and big brown eyes that are either the picture of innocence or full of malice- it depends on who's in charge. His skin is extremely pale since he can't exactly go out and suntan for a while, and he has a lot of freckles. His outfits are usually chosen in order to cover the most amount of skin possible. Most of his height comes from his long legs. There's a tattoo he doesn't remember getting on his left arm depicting a bat flying in front of a crescent moon.
Backstory: When he was eighteen years old, a vampire to his house. The vampire slaughtered George's entire family and then turned him into a vampire too. The experience was so traumatic that George locked the memories away in order to cope. He forgot the previous years of his life and started over as a wanderer. What he didn't realize was that in locking away his memories, he also created a second personality in his mind. This personality gave itself a name: Apollyon. Apollyon learned how George acted by observing him and his friends' opinions of him, until he could fully conceal himself when he took over George's body. For a while, George didn't even realize anything was wrong. Then he went to sleep and woke up in the ashes of his town with know memory of what had happened. As he settled down in other towns, it began to happen more frequently. After dealing with it the first few times, he couldn't help blaming himself. After all, more often than not, he was the only survivor, and he always woke up right in the middle of everything. He became a wanderer, terrified that if he stayed in one place for too long, he would get the people around him killed. It never occured to him that he might have multiple personalies, and Apollyon is happy to keep both that and his vampire status a secret from him.
Personality: George is a kind, sweet guy. He loves helping people or creatures in need and doesn't mind making sacrifices for others. However, years of dealing with Apollyon constantly taking over and killing the people around him, he's become reclusive. He fears hurting people, and so tries his best to avoid them. His fears make him a bit of a contradiction, because he craves human companionship, but avoids it at all costs. Before he was turned into a vampire, he had a large group of friends and loved hanging out with people. Over the years, he has buried that part of him, but deep down, he's still very much a social person. He just doesn't believe he can or should be. Apollyon is a completely different story. He's crafty, cruel, and takes full advantage of his vampire abilities to destroy things. He loves to see the expressions on people's faces as he burns their towns and kills their families in front of them. He plays the part of George very well when he has to, but he hates George more than anyone else. He views people who insist on helping others as weak, and believes that the weak should be eradicated.
Magic/Powers: All of the normal abilities of a vampire- increased strength, agility, durability, senses, and healing. Mind compulsion and telepathy as well, although George doesn't realize he can do that.
Weapon Of Choice: George won't touch weapons to save his life. Apollyon, however, would be happy to rip people's throats out and suck them dry. Either that or setting things on fire. He's a bit of a pyro.
Strengths: His vampire abilities, of course, but also his natural talent with hand-to-hand combat. He did a lot of karate as a kid, and while he doesn't remember it, he still has the experience. Apollyon's strength is his ability to trick people and draw them in as "George". George has a natural talent for social interaction and his kind, loving personality tends to draw people to him whether he likes it or not.
Weaknesses: Constantly blacking out and never knowing what Apollyon did while he was in charge has caused many problems for George. Being unable to go out in the sunlight is also a major weakness, and he's constantly lurking in the dark or wearing things to block the sunlight. He just thinks he has extremely sensitive skin, but that's not exactly the case. He can't eat garlic, and feels emotions with much more intensity than normal people might.
Captured: He was captured while Apollyon was in charge. A bunch of Unseelie guard came out of nowhere and tried to restrain him, but Apollyon fought back. That is, until someone managed to tell him that if he went with them, he would have the opportunity to get close to and kill as many people as he wanted. After that he went willingly and ended up in Chicago. George regained control after that, but only up until his name was called. George had planned to join Amity, but Apollyon didn't want to end up bored to death, so he took over and chose Dauntless. George came to in the net, totally confused about what had happened.
Greatest Fear: Himself. Wherever he goes, destruction eventually follows, and he fears he's the reason. Whether he causes it or it simply happens because he's there, he doesn't know, but he can't help feeling that everytime someone dies around him, it's his fault.
Insecurities: Apollyon doesn't have time for insecurities, but George has plenty. His greatest insecurity is his hands. Although he never remembers what happens after Apollyon takes over, he always wakes up with the distinct feeling that there's blood on his hands. He sees his hands as killing hands and refuses to touch weapons in case he might accidentally kill someone.
Loved Ones: He doesn't have any friends or loved ones. At first, Apollyon killed them all. After a while, he stopped trying to make friends and kept to himself. The closest thing he has to a loved one is the baby wolf he rescued. Apollyon didn't kill the wolf, for reasons he won't admit to, so it's the only companion George has. If Grey (the wolf) ever died, George would probably lose it.
Realm They're From: Earth
Fandom They're From: Vampire Diaries
Token: George doesn't travel with anything other than the clothes on his back and Grey.
Anything Else: Don't make George angry, because it takes a lot to do so, and he might just be worse than Apollyon. Don't corner him either, because Apollyon will probably kill you. And if you hurt Grey then just run. Run far and fast, because you'll have both George and Apollyon on your tail and neither of them will show you mercy. They're very attached to the little wolf.
