Description: Gavin has bright blue eyes and shaggy, red hair. It isn't the bright red, however, but more of a pale red. His preferred outfit is a t-shirt and jeans, and he's around five foot six. He's thin, and has darker skin. He's usually smiling, or frowning in concentration (probably playing some game).

Background: His parents were part of the Midnight Corps, but they didn't let him join. Then one day they disappeared on a mission, and the Corps came knocking. Since he had nowhere else to go, he accepted their invitation to join them. There wasn't much of a place for a gamer on other squads, though, so he spent most of his time training or playing games. As a one-man team, he couldn't take many jobs, and was stuck at HQ. Eventually, things got boring. He tried joining several different squads, but they made it clear he was nothing but dead weight. Then the Director invited him to join the Outlaws. He accepted and has worked with them since then.

Personality: He's the guy to go to if you're feeling down. He always has a joke ready to lighten the mood, and somehow, he always has something edible and delicious in his pockets (no one knows where it comes from). He loves a challenge, and hates losing. He's a serious gamer, and is usually playing something. If he can't win what he's playing the way he's supposed to, he finds some convoluted way of going about it, and if that doesn't work, he cheats. Over the years, he's honed his skills, and became a master at thinking through things in the most unexpected manner, and cheating without getting caught. He applies what he knows from games to the real world, and uses the knowledge to get through life mostly unscathed.

Weapon Of Choice: Depends on his avatar. In real life, he does some hand-to-hand, but he isn't much of a fighter.

Magic/Powers: None, unless you count his gaming skills.

Strengths: His main skill is his ability to think through things. Where one might approach things directly, he comes at it from a different angle, and tends to find answers better that way. However, when that fails, he's also incredibly good at cheating. Aside from that, he has mediocre hand-to-hand combat skills, and can defend himself with a hand gun if necessary. He's also good with electronics, and makes his own custom communications devices (which is how he became the communication's guy).

Weaknesses: He is far from the best at hand-to-hand, and while he could defend against most normal attackers, he would quickly be overtaken by most others. He also sees life as a game, which can cause him to make reckless choices at times. And he's terrified of spiders (though he'd never admit it.)

Captured: He and the rest of the team were coming back from a job when the transport malfuctioned. They had to split up and join different factions, and he ended up in Erudite. After initiation, the squad met up again and found Midnight.

Greatest Fear: Spiders. They're gross and disgusting and he despises them.

Insecurities: He feels he has no place on the team, since Kaylee can do everything he can and most of the others can fight much better than him. They make him feel welcome and most of the time he doesn't feel like he doesn't belong, but there are times when he isn't able to help because of his limitations. He hates that feeling of helplessness and constantly fears that they'll kick him off the squad if he doesn't do more to contribute.

Loved Ones: He has no blood ties, that he knows of, but considers his squad to be his family.
