Appearance: She has chocolate brown eyes and brown hair just past her shoulders that she keeps in a bun. She's thin, with a bright smile and pale skin. She's a few inches taller than four feet and wears traditional chinese clothing.

Backstory: Fen was friends with Mulan since she was a child. She was the only one who understood Mulan's desire to be more than just another pretty face. Fen always wanted more too, and found a kindred spirit in Mulan. Then Mulan got her chance to be more and Fen was left behind to worry about what might happen. Fen spent the time worried, but continued life as usual for the most part. Then Mulan came back a war hero, eventually got engaged to General Shang, and married. Fen was married the normal way- the matchmaker found a man for her and the two were wed. Eventually, Fen and Mulan both had a child. Fen was blessed with a little boy and Mulan with a girl. But Mulan's child was stolen. Fen helped search for Meili, but she'd disappeared. Fen watched her friend search for years. Mulan never gave up on finding Meili, but Fen lost hope long ago and tried to help Mulan and Shang move past things. Eventually, Mulan had a baby boy. That, more than anything else, helped her to finally come to terms with what had happened to Meili. Fen got used to being a mother and had three children in all, but she still wanted more out of life.

Personality: Fen never enjoyed being a quiet woman who 'knew her place'. She did what was expected of her and still does, but she's a fighter. She cares about other people and loves kids especially. She's great with children and has a very motherly attitude towards even kids who aren't her own. She's compassionate, but has a bit of a sarcastic side to her if provoked.

Magic/Powers: N/A

Weapon Of Choice: She never trained with weapons officially, but she got Mulan to teach her how to weild a staff well enough that she could defend herself if she needed to.

Strengths: Her compassionate nature is something she has always considered one of her best traits. Of course, she can defend herself and has a natural talent for putting clues together and figuring things out. Unfortunately, that wasn't enough to save Mulan's lost child.

Weaknesses: She can only fight with a staff- women aren't supposed to learn war techniques. She's used to living in the shadows of the people around her, so she doesn't know how to react when she's put in the spotlight. She's also a terrible liar.

Captured: Some people might have panicked if Unseelie showed up on their doorstep and tried to kidnap them. That some people was Fen. She fought, of course- she wasn't about to just allow them to kidnap her- but it didn't exactly work out. They dragged her through a portal and she ended up stranded at the Shinsengumi headquarters.

Greatest Fear: That she'll never make a difference. She doesn't want to sit at home all her life and never accomplish anything, but she fears that's what will happen.

Insecurities: As much as she wants to make a difference, she's also afraid to dishonor her family. She wants to be what they need her to be, but she also wants to be free to be herself.

Loved Ones: Her parents, her husband, and her three children.
