Character Form: Cagan Ebugen - deceased
Username: Several7s
Name: Cagan Ebugen
Age: 39
Gender: Male
Appearance: He has harsh brown eyes and a cruel smile. His brown hair is beginning to gray and he has a scruffy beard. He's tall and has an intimidating, angry look to him.
Backstory: Cagan was twenty one when Shan Yu marched on China, bent on destroying the Chinese and making sure they knew the Mongols were more powerful. He fought alongside the other Mongols all the way to the emperor and watched as Mulan sent Shan Yu to his death among hundreds of fireworks. Cagan believed in his leader's vision of conquering China, but Shan Yu's loss, as well as the death of much of the Hun army, that vision was destroyed. The way Cagan saw it, the fault lie squarely on the shoulders of the scrawny girl who had killed Shan Yu and most of their army (whose name, he later discovered, was Mulan). He plotted his revenge, but Mulan and Shang were too well protected for one man to do much. So when they married and had a child, Cagan saw an opportunity. He stole the baby girl and planned to kill her, but in that moment, he couldn't go through with killing the child. Something about killing and innocent baby and leaving the body behind for Mulan to find didn't sit right with him, no matter how deeply he hated Mulan. So instead, he named the child Khenbish and took her with him to rejoin the rest of the Hun army. By his reasoning, not knowing what had become of their child would hurt Mulan and Shang more than knowing she'd been killed. Khen grew up in his 'care' and he found he greatly enjoyed watching her work and toil for the Huns. It brought him great satisfaction to hurt her- even more so when she began to greatly resemble her mother. Every time she ran, Cagan hunted her down and dragged her back. He lied to her about her past and watched as, slowly, she broke. Until one day, she finally did escape. They tracked her to a cave, which she disappeared into.
Personality: He's always had a love for destruction and death. Since he was a child, he was raised to believe that the Mongols would one day conquer the world and he held to that. When he joined the Hun army, it gave him a chance to channel that sadistic nature. If someone were injured, he would find pleasure in mocking them and even hurting them more. He clings to a deep anger that rooted deep within him as a child. He couldn't identify where the anger came from or who/what it's directed at, but it's there and it shows. He's prone to angry outbursts, but still has a strong sense of comraderie with his fellow Huns. He looks down on anyone who isn't a Mongol and if they aren't beneath his notice, then they're only there for him to kill or enslave.
Magic/Powers: N/A
Weapon Of Choice: He likes to use a sword- it lets him see the fear in his enemies' eyes as he kills them.
Strengths: He has physical strength and knows how to inspire his men. He believes his greatest strength is his ability to inflict the maximum amount of pain possible on someone without killing them, or while killing them, depending on the situation.
Weaknesses: His outbursts of anger often cause him to act irrationally and make stupid decisions. When he's intoxicated, he is practically useless for anything other than drunkenly attempting to beat up anyone in his path- and he gets drunk a lot. He's also incredibly arrogant and believes that Mongols are better than everyone else.
Captured: Three weeks after Khen disappeared, Cagan was drunk and wandering around the camp like an idiot. A portal opened right in front of a bunch of soldiers and several Unseelie stepped out. Cagan though he was halucinating, right up until they grabbed him, dragged him through the portal, and dropped him off somewhere he didn't recognize.
Greatest Fear: He despised Mulan for almost single-handedly destroying the entire Hun army and thwarting their attack on China. But he also has an irrational fear that she'll come back for him and try to take Khen back.
Insecurities: As arrogant as he is, he's very insecure about his position. He desires to be the best and get a high position in the army, but he never does. He watched others around him get those positions and it only made him more worried about it. Still, he would never admit to having any sort of fear or insecurities.
Loved Ones: His fellow soldiers are all comrades, but he doesn't really understand how to properly love someone. Even his parents didn't receive that.
