Appearance: He has dark skin and black hair cut military style. His eyes are hazel and he's a big guy with an intimidating appearance. When he's not in uniform, he usually throws on whatever's comfortable.

Backstory: Alex was a teen when his dad was arrested for drug dealing. After that, it was revealed that his father was only the fall guy for a much larger and more extensive operation. Alex was told to stay out of it, but he couldn't help being interested. He decided to gather information on the drug cartel and send it to the police- by joining them. After all, who would suspect a fifteen-year-old? How he even managed to find them is anyone's guess- he never told- but he did. He told them he was there to join- to follow in his father's footsteps. Miraculously, it worked. Of course, the person the police had put undercover there did not appreciate his involvement. But the plant hadn't been getting anything and it was much easier for Alex to sneak around and figure things out. Since it was too late for Alex to safely pull out of things, the officer reluctantly agreed to allow Alex to poke around. When they eventually took down the cartel, it was due largely to Alex's information and the evidence he dug up against them. Alex's life went back to normal after that, but he never forgot how much he enjoyed being able to take down the cartel, even if it did mean that his father was guilty. So when choosing a career, Alex decided to become a cop. He was especially good at undercover missions and fit right in with the other officers. In fact, the officer he'd worked with as a kid ended up being his captain when he joined.

Personality: He's not one to dwell on things and is very dedicated to his job. He believes no one is above the law. Watching his dad get arrested as a kid taught him that even the people you should be able to trust with your life can betray you. He trusts, but not easily. He'll never let you know if you hurt him and he's very good at playing the tough guy. He believes in the law and he believes in upholding it. He does pretty much everything by the book and doesn't like to bend rules.

Magic/Powers: N/A

Weapon Of Choice: A handgun, generally.

Strengths: People just tell him things sometimes- maybe he has a trustworth face or something. It's really helpful in his line of work, though. He has great aim and has this uncanny ability to find things and people when he needs to.

Weaknesses: He's too strict on himself and focuses too much on keeping the law- so much so that it can be hard for him to see the bigger picture of things. He tends to expect the worst of people, enough that he has trouble trusting the word of others without evidence to back it up. He sees things as very black and white when it comes to the law, which can be dangerous.

Captured: He had gone undercover to take down a rich crime lord. He was just about to deliver the evidence nessessary to take the crime lord down for good when he was found and dragged into an alley. The crime lord's men beat him up and then threw him through a portal.

Greatest Fear: That he won't live up to the expectations he sets for himself or the expectations that others set for him.

Insecurities: He's often afraid he'll be judged by who his father is and what his father did and feels he has to prove he is his own person.

Loved Ones: His mother and his friends. He does care about them, he just finds it hard to trust them.
