Description: Akane has bright, orange eyes that sparkle with curiosity. Her hair is a dark, burnt orange color. She usually braids back the front and leaves the rest down. She's just a few inches under five feet and wears casual clothing. Rarely does she wear skirts or dresses- she prefers pants since they're easier to move in.

Backstory: Akane was born in Magnolia to non-wizard parents. She loves learning and spent as much time as she could in school and then in the library once she finished school. She was twelve when she first learned magic. She found a type of magic that would be good for defense or offense and spent a lot of time learning to use it properly. When she had full control of her magic, she joined Fairy Tail. She took jobs on her own for the most part, but made plenty of friends. Being part of a guild was amazing, and she loved it. Despite the messes that Fairy Tail made, they always seemed to get the job done and have fun doing it. When Natsu and the others disappeared, she spent the whole seven years searching for them, determined to bring the guild back to its former glory. Unfortunately, she didn't find anything and wasn't able to help. She was there during the Grand Magic games, but didn't get to participate.

Personality: Akane is a kind girl who would rather sit in a library and read than go out and fight people. She likes to memorize random facts and ancient languages when she's bored. When it comes to fighting, she can, but chooses not to. She believes that fighting isn't always necessary and tries to resolve things peacefully when she's on jobs. It rarely works, but she always takes that approach first. She hates hurting people or seeing others get hurt. If someone needs her help, she won't hesistate to give it. She tends to get distracted by her own thoughts and her mind wanders constantly. Making friends doesn't come easy for her. Not because she doesn't enjoy hanging out with people, but because she's just not good at making conversation.

Magic/Powers: Earth molding magic.

Weapon Of Choice: Her magic or her knowledge. She'd prefer a battle of wits to a battle of strength.

Strengths: She's smart and knows a good deal about magic. She's really good with her magic and knows how to battle with it. She knows several different languages and has a variety of skills- on various levels- from reading books and attempting what she reads about.

Weaknesses: She won't strike first and won't fight seriously unless she believes her life is truly in danger. She'll fight to incapacitate her enemies without hurting them much, so in a fight against someone who wants to kill her, she would have a disadvantage. She's terrible at starting conversations and talking herself out of situations. She isn't great at spotting lies or reading people either.

Captured: She was experimenting with an ancient teleportation spell, trying to see if she could cast it, when she appeared in the middle of Chicago. She still isn't sure if the spell actually worked or not. All she knows is that something happened and she doesn't know how to get back home.

Greatest Fear: Not much truly scares her, but people who enjoy killing and hurting others terrify her. She can't understand why they would ever enjoy something so inhumane.

Insecurities: She sometimes feels out of place because of her passive nature and avoidance of combat.
