Physical Description: Rye has long, light, dusky brown hair, and her eyes are a brilliant shade of dark blue eyes with a light greenish tinge to them, making them appear to be almost turquoise at the outer edges. She has pale, porcelain skin, and to some she is considered a beauty. She is quite small for her age, but she doesn't let that pressurize her. She always keeps to the motto; good things come in small packages.

Personality: Rye has always had a strange fascination with life and death, how things work. She has always wanted to see what makes things to tick, to dissect things and discover everything about them. For many years, since she was young, she has had this strange fixation, and it has never quite left her. Humans have also always interested her, the depth behind emotions, and what's really going on behind other people's doors, inside their minds and heads. Rye was gifted with intelligence, a gift she has always treasured and held close to her heart, even if she can be a bit boastful of her intellect. Normally, Rye is quite shy and reserved, always observing others and drawing up her own conclusions. She rarely speaks and keeps to herself, most of the time. Rye has a fond love of nature and the outdoors, often enjoying swimming and climbing greatly. She also absolutely adores reading, that being one of her favoured pastimes. She also enjoys art, another of her pastimes, but hates music. Rye can be quite judgmental at times, but also headstrong and determined, if she needs to be. She has a more creative mind, always trying to come up with new solutions to mind-boggling problems and impress those around her.

Family: Rye's parents died in a fire when she was young, making her always quite wary of fire and preferring the comfort and safety of water. Her parents death due to fire was her main reason for enjoying swimming so much. She has an elder brother, Jon, who she cares greatly about, but apart from that she has no close family. She never really made friends, always preferring her own company.

Reason They Volunteered: Rye was deeply interested in the experiment, not more thinking about the power itself and what it would give her, but upon the effect it would have, mentally of course, upon her and the other subjects. She saw it as an experiment for human nature, and was eager to take part and observe. Though of course, the idea of having some sort of power did entice her, as well as the ways she could use the power to impress.

Weapons They Would Use: Of physical weapons, Rye has always favoured the dagger, small but deadly, and in her mind, good things always come in small packages. She favours also her intelligence over her physical strength as well.

Weaknesses: She has a slightly more boastful nature, and an urge to do things the hard way and stand out. Rather than doing a job simply and easily, she always makes a grand, elaborate affair out of it. She also is slightly lacking in the brawn department, though she is rather athletic and enjoys swimming, climbing and running, she is unable to lift heavy things like weights. She also has her fear and wariness of fire, due to her parents death.

Strengths: Her intelligence, is one of her most prized traits. She considers intelligence to be the greatest trait in the world, and has rather low opinions of those who lack in this department. She knows how to look after herself, too, having to fend for herself growing up an orphan. She has he me's essay survival skills, climbing, swimming, running, for example. In addition, she's pretty decent with a dagger, using it in street fights with the other orphans and street urchins.
