Physical Description: Agewise, she doesn't look 13 but older, like 15 with her willowy build and mature-looking features. Her long hair is ebony-dark and straight-ish, often kept in a half-up do. Her greyish-brown of her eyes contrast with her dark hair and are her most striking feature below her thin eyebrows. Her low nose ridge leads to a small nose, which in turn leads down to average-sized lips. Her jawline gives her fair-skinned face an oval shape. Her shoulders are rather narrow with a small birthmark on her right. As said, she looks mature for her age, all except for her chest, which is rather flat.

Personality: In her family, she is the reserved one, usually only showing about 40% of her emotions. Sometimes when she doesn't really care, she'll let everything out, especially when she's feeling a very strong emotion. Sometimes when she needs to watch her image, she'll behave like she's mildly interested in everything. Acquaintances will think she's a robot. Friends know that she's a little crazy and quite sarcastic. But most of all, she will do anything for those she loves. Just don't think of using that to your advantage yet though, because gaining her trust will take a lot of effort, so just imagine what it would take to gain her love...

Family: She lives in a pretty normal family: relatively poor, no sibling rivalry, no parents fighting. Her town has the largest Asian-to-Others ratio. Hence, it's no surprise that her father is of Chinese descent and her mother of English descent. Her father is the sole breadwinner of the family, or used to be, anyway. Her mother has always been the worrier, who thinks of the family as a whole before its members. Her twin brother, Alford, is, what do you call it? The idea guy. His ideas will either turn out to be genius, or the other end of the spectrum, brainless. They all love her and she loves them but everyone can observe that her brother loves her the most.

Reason they volunteered: She didn't want to volunteer. But it started when her father lost his job and couldn't find another one due to his ethnicity. They were starting to sink deeper into poverty when her family-inclined mother found out about the tests. She started having this idea that if one of her children ever became an Elemental soldier, the family could get more money so that they wouldn't starve. She reluctantly decided to send Apanie since she had the least use to the family. Alford tried to plead with her to send him instead but unfortunately there was only one slot left for the Eastern State and that was for a girl. Nevertheless, Alford tried to pose as Apanie so that he would go instead but his cover was blown because of his voice and he had no choice but to return home.

Weapons They Would Use: She found out a few years ago at a school camp that she was a natural with a bow and arrows but unfortunately, she doesn't have much practice. She would pick a those if there was no other choice but she would prefer poison, words or simply her powers.

Weaknesses: It would be difficult for her to make an ally without losing any sleep as she most likely will not trust them until she has spent a ridiculously great amount of time with them. She also second-guesses herself a lot and seldom follows illogical things like her instincts. Other than that, she is hopeless at close combat and the only thing she is willing to do is dodge and run as she can't bear to hurt someone physically.

Strengths: She's fast. Very fast. The only time someone has ever beaten her was when she unknowingly was running a fever during a long distance run. She is also good at making someone feel weak using her own words but she hates doing that, leading her to use that only as a backup plan. Agility is also an advantage for her as she can easily escape from a fight.
