Brandeen pov

I woke up and went to check on Austin again he was fine still resting I went to make some more soup after I finished the soup I heard some coughing I took the soup over to his bed and set it on the table and brought him to sitting position and he opened his eyes. "Morning how are you feeling?" "B-better." "That's good I was worried about you." He looked at me in disbelief. "R-really?" "Yes Michael was as well he came to see you." "I-I know I heard." "You were awake?" "More like half awake." It grew silent and he looked a little sad. "Hey how would you like to get out of the house?" He brightened up at that idea. "Yeah I would like that." I helped him up grabbed his hand and went to the dock and sat down Austin sat next to me it was peaceful I've never done something like this before with someone I've only ever hung out with Jakey never really anyone else before I enjoyed it I liked sitting next to this mysterious boy I turned and looked at him to see a small sad smile on his face he looked like he was also enjoying this we spent a few hours there just starring at the ocean after a while I got up to go back to my cabin Austin walking with me on the way back I heard a voice yell out. "Austin!!" It was clearly Xylo I turned and looked at Austin who had a grin on his face that screamed fake after seeing him smile at the dock and this one it was clear that it wasn't real I could see the pain in his eyes and he turned around to speak to Xylo and I stood back to let them talk.

Austin pov

I loved the time at the dock with Brandeen it was nice to relax I didn't trust Brandeen yet but I was beginning to I heard Xylo screaming my name I put on my fake grin and make my voice cheerful and turn around. "Hey bro what's up?" He looks at me angrily. "What were you thinking you idiot! trying to kill yourself are you stupid!?" I looked at him blankly as everything started to bubble back up Ritchie yelling at me starving myself Xylo's betrayal the pain came rushing back in and the depression screaming at his thoughts when he felt his grin begin to fall the voices screaming at him remembering every time someone had screamed at him it all hurt so much that's when his brain started to shut down during his inner panicking.

Brandeen pov

After Xylo's yelling it brought out the other campers out to see what all the ruckus was Austin was just standing there blankly his grin had started to fall I was getting angry Austin had begone to cry and he collapsed in on himself and curled into a ball and cried and screamed as if he was in pain my anger vanished for a little while as I went to hold Austin and try to get him to calm down everyone else was frozen one person ran out from the crowd and hugged Austin with me I turned to look at who it was and saw Michael who was whispering to him to try and get him to calm down another person ran to Michael's side I saw that It was Ritchie. Austin had calmed down and passed out I turned to look at the two. "Can you two watch him for a minute for me please?" The two nodded at me and I got up and glared at a still frozen Xylo he flinched at my glare. "You idiot what is wrong with you look what you did to Austin he was already fragile and now look what you did you hurt him you stay away from him you hear me you clearly don't treat him right you stay away from him!" I would have hit him but I was too worried about getting Austin home I went over back to Austin and picked him up from the other two's hold and carried him bridal style I looked at Michael and Ritchie. "You two are okay if you want to see him come by tomorrow." They nodded at me I turned around and carried him back to my cabin and laid him back in bed I was exhausted after today I went to my bed and collapsed and immediately fell asleep.
