Finally, the death trap known as school ended for the day. Again, no homework. I walked to the music factory. No one was in the main room, so I headed upstairs. Sure enough, Austin was sitting with Ally at the piano. I spyed for a few minutes, then Austin got up and went into the bathroom. I walked into the room. "Hey, Sadie," Ally said. I waved. Then she got up. "Sadie, it looks like you have a black eye! What happened?" I touched my face and pulled out my phone. Then I turned it on selfie cam, and saw that my makeup was coming off. "Um..." I hesitated. "Nothing happened. I'm totally fine." She walked closer to me and looked at my face. "Sadie, don't lie to me. That's a black eye. You have a bruise on your cheek too!" Ally exclaimed. "Cut the lie." She finished. I sighed. "Fine. There's this kid and he keeps beating me up at school. I tried to hide the bruises with makeup but..." I trailed off. Ally gave me a big hug. "Oh Sadie. Why would someone do that to you?" For some reason, I began to cry. I cried harder and harder until I was hiccuping and whimpering at the same time. "I don't know," I cried.
Then Austin came out of the bathroom. He saw me crying and rushed over. "Sadie, talk to me!" He demanded. "No. I only want to talk to Ally. "Can I tell him?" Ally whispered in my ear and I didn't respond. I guess she took that as a yes. "Austin, some kid has been beating her up at school." I let out a deep breath. "Did you know?" Ally asked him. He shook his head. And for once, he wasn't lying. I'd never told him because I thought he'd laugh. But now I know. He's not going to laugh. He wrapped me in a hug and asked, "Sadie, why didn't you tell me?" "Because I thought you'd laugh." "Sadie, why would you think that?" Then we both looked at Ally. "Brother sister moment Ally." Said Austin, pointing to the door. "Right, sorry!" Said Ally as she left the room. "You always ignore me. Everyone does." I replied. "What makes you say that?" You never even knew I could sing. You lied to Ally's face about me. You always send me away. Can you expect me not to feel like that?" I asked Austin. " I guess you're right. Listen, Sadie, I am so sorry." "It's ok, Austin." I said with a smile. "Good, Sadie." He replied. "I love you." I said. Then we let go of each other and- wait wait wait. Does Ally like Austin? The answer is... spoiler alert. She hates him because he sent her out! No just kidding. Austin, Ally, and Sadie all live happily ever after.
