Ch. 4
I walked down stairs and saw Trish and Dez arguing near the stage. "I'm really good at persuading!" Said Dez. "Really? Prove it!" Trish argued. "Ok. Trish, give me $10." "No!" Said Trish. "Fine." Continued Dez. "Don't give me $10!" "I won't!" Argued Trish. "See? Persuasive!" Said Dez. Trish rolled her eyes.
"Hey, guys." I murmured. Trish wasn't that mean to me. Dez was always nice. Ish. Sometimes he was nice. "Hi Sadie!" Said Dez excitedly. "Hey," said Trish casually. "Where are you working at now?" I asked her. "The Beach Club." She replied and I nodded. "We've been hanging out a lot. I go to her job with her and do her job while she sits around and watches. And, she gets all the tips!" Dez commented. "But he can still call it hanging out." Said Trish. "Well, we better go so I can keep hanging out with Trish." Said Dez. "Byee!" I waved slowly, then went into the recording studio. I played the instrumental to Superhero. "Let me be your superhero!" I finished. Then I decided to listen. Wow, I sounded good!
Luckily, no one had heard me this time. Austin might have been mad to see that Ally noticed my talents. He liked her and didn't want me to get in the way and I understood. But what I don't get is, why doesn't Austin want his own little sister to have a wonderful career, let alone her first friend?
