Tommy is a Vampire who owns an apartment complex. The apart. complex is located on the edge of town, it and it's surrounding area are considered Tommy's territory. Tommy shelters humans and other mythical creatures in his apartment complex for free. 

Phil is a human who lives in the apartment complex and is courting Kristen(ancient vampire Tommy is friends with, she doesn't live in the apart. complex), he also has teatime with Tommy  once a week. Teatime consists of chitchat about their week and a drink of their choice, often tea but sometimes other drinks like hot chocolate and coffee. 

Beeduo are vampires(and Tommy's friends of course) who visit on occasion. They aren't actually relevant to the story of this AU but they do exist.

Vampire Covens are very much a thing in this AU, some are tight-knit groups who all live together and others(like Tommy's) are more loose-knit and meet up once or twice a year for an undetermined amount of time. Vampires can only move into Tommy's territory if they have an alliance or join Tommy's coven.

Having humans as livestock in covens is generally looked down upon in vampire culture due to how little regulations were put in place for the humans safety, often resulting in unneeded death and disease.

Opens with Wilbur escaping a coven before ending up in Tommy's territory, scene transitions over to Tommy and Phil having teatime. They chitchat and Tommy leaves, sensing foreign vampires. He tracks the vampires to a back ally and finds them mid attacking of a human, he intimidates/fights them off and brings the human back to his apartment complex. With the help of Phil, Tommy fixes up the human. Timeskip to the next day the human wakes up, Tommy explains who he is and the human introduces himself as Wilbur but doesn't give any other information. Recovery week with bonding, angst/fluff, and hurt/comfort. Wilbur meets Phil during that week.

Wilbur reveals that he has a twin(Techno) and that they were raised as livestock for the coven they're from, Wilbur escaped but Techno is still trapped. Tommy probes for more information on the coven which Wilbur supplies. Tommy uses said information to locate the guild and save Techno, thus another recovery/bonding arc.
