In this AU, monsters were banished to Australia instead of underground, sealed with a magic barrier around the entire island? Continent? Country? Anyway, in this AU the barrier was much weaker and was able to be broken by Chara after accidentally absorbing Asgore's Soul after an assassination attempt took his life. Additionally Chara and Asriel didn't die, and were actually wed getting married after Asriel inherited the throne.
