Third Person POV

To say Aurora was nervous wouldn't even cut how she was feeling right now. Her heart was beating so fast , it felt as if she was going to either have a panic  attack or a heart attack.

Reason why she's so nervous? It's her fourteen birthday. And she's about to inherit her family's heirloom that has been passed down through generations and generations to come.

The royal wand of the butterfly family.

Aurora is the royal princess and heirs  of a kingdom called Mewni. Her mother Queen Star Butterfly The Rebel and her farther King Marco Ubalo Diaz Butterfly ran the kingdom.

Before there were a lot of issues before with monsters and Mewmans , but sense a few years of Her mothers rein the kingdom has been at peace.

Aurora 's POV

I stared at my self in my wall mirror, adjusting my dark blue dress and puffy white sleeves trying in vain to calm down. Today was my  birthday and today I was getting something I longed to have. The butterfly wand.

I can't wait to touch it! My mom (the queen) has told me that when you hold it your hands for the first time and it transforms , its as if the magic surges through you. You fell all fuzzy and stuff and you have your very own wand!

And today is my wand ceremony! Well not right now anyway, in about 40 minutes or so. So that gives me enough time to get ready. I grabbed my princess crown , hair brush,  and headed out the door of my bedroom.

I was going to go find either my mom or dad so they can brush my hair. I'm to lazy to do it. It's so naturally curly it's such a hassle for a single brush stroke!

I walked to my parents room ,through our big castle's halls , servants were running about trying to get everything ready for the ceremony. By now I had made it to my parents room which was located in another part of the palace , and knocked on their door. "Come in! "A voice called  from the other side.

I opened the door , my moms back was facing me, she was putting on her lipstick at her vanity , it matched the color of her heart cheek marks.

Little known fact about our family. All the girls have cheek marks. None of them are the same , my mom as I said has peach pink colored hearts. I have golden suns on mine.

My mom turned to me with a smile on her face." There's my beautiful sunrise." She said. She then noticed my hairbrush and crown in my hands, she got up from her cushioned chair." Come here so I can brush your hair sweetie."

I walked over to her and sat down in the throne like chair , she began to brush." You nervous?"

I nodded." Way nervous." I answered as I sat like a princess was supposed too, even with family. Shoulders back , back straight , hand positioned in lap, feet flat on the ground.

"Just smile ok? Besides it just to show of your new wand anyway. I know for fact it's going to be like you." She smiled at me in the mirror. I snorted. My mom can be really silly at times , but also wise too.

She placed the golden crown with pink pearls on top of my head." There all done." Mom kissed my cheek right on my sun cheek mark." Perfect."

I looked at my self in the mirror" Thanks mom" I smiled. When my brown tresses were brushed they actually looked really beautiful.

"You look just like your father ." Mom said as she looked at me. "Where is he anyway?" I asked.

"Getting everything "perfect" as he said." Momma  said giggling. I giggled too, nothings perfect.

My mom is right about me looking more like my father than her. I have his golden tan skin, brunette hair, even his bangs! The only thing I had of my mother's were her eyes.

Mom started to walk towards the door." I'll have someone come and get you alright?" She said looking at me over her shoulder. "Ok!" I answered back. She smiled walked out and closed the door behind him.

I took a deep breath.

Just smile.

Third person POV

Aurora stood in front of the gigantic wooden doors to the throne room , with beautiful designs on them. She took a deep breath, and opened them.

Every head in the room turned to her. The princess put on her best smile on her face. She started too walk down the runway with the red carpet. At the front of the crowd , she did she saw the Royal Mewnisters and there children.

Most of them (the children ) looked at Aurora with disgust , but only two looked at her smiling. Their names were Pine and Maple Forest of House Forest. Son and daughter to Lady Juniper Forest and Oak Forest.

They are the house that are responsible for taking care of the borders or the forest of Mewni. Which gave them their last names. That and the looks of green eyes and hair.

Aurora went up the stairs and looked up at her parents. Her mother holding her wand with the bell in one and the handle in the other.

"Aurora." Her mother called her name to get her attention. She looked from the wand to her mom." The magic is strong in our family. My mother had it. I have it. Our ancestors have it." The blonde queen bent down to her daughters level." And you have it too." She presented the wand to aurora.

Aurora smiled nervously and gulped. She took the wand from Star and held it up. The wand immediately was surrounded with a yellow light like fire, with sunflowers in it.

To wings flapped as the fire distinguishing ,showing it's new form.

Aurora looked at it curiously." So what do I do with it now?"

"Have fun of course!" Star suddenly exclaimed , excited smile on her face , arms up in the air.

"Star." Marco said seriously.

"But." The Star queen said regaining her composure." With responsibility." The king rolled his eyes at at his wife sigh , smiling non the less.

"Now let us comes with the annual birthday feast!" Star announced. Everyone cheered and clapped starting towards the dining room.

(Some commercials come on)

Third Person still

Aurora sighed as she looked down at her lap after sitting down. She , her parents , and the guest had moved to the ball room. Aurora was sat in the middle ready to receive gifts from the nobles of Mewni. And others royalty

Aurora had gotten many gifts , such as a Rose flower clip from Rose Flowers, a ship in a bottle from Pacifica Waterson, and a jewel encrusted box from Gold stone.

"What beautiful gifts." Her mother said , as she examined Aurora's new ship in a bottle." Your friends sure chose wisely sunflower!"

The king nodded coming closer behind his queens observing the bottle containing a small Mewnian  ship." Isn't that Queen Polaria's ship?
Sea star was it?

The queen took a closer look and smiled." It is!" Star kissed Marcos cheek. "Good observation sweetie!"

Aurora just smiled nervously. Out of the corner of her eye she could see Rose and Pacifica looking her up and down whispering to each other and laughing.

Aurora knew the true faces of the noble children. They presented them selves as perfect angles. Even going as far to pretend they're friends with her. But behind close doors they hated her for what she was.

Not being a full Mewiman.

The king and queen then went to converse with the guest and thank them for coming since the party was coming to a close. Aurora just sat there. Doing nothing just talking to anyone who came and wished her a happy birthday.

"Hey Rory!" The sun princess looked up and saw one of her best friends and only friend of the young nobility. Pine Forest.

"Hey Pine!" Aurora greeted." How are you enjoying the party?"

"Honestly , it's been enjoyable, but a little boring." Pine answered.

Aurora giggled." Well at least your not the one sitting down the whole time."

Pine chuckled." Yeah I guess so. Before I have to go." Pine reaches into his pocket." Here." He handed a tiny , pale blue sack.

Aurora took the gift. It was a bag of sunflower seeds.

Aurora blushed." My favorite flower." She looked up at him . "Thank you Pine."

The green haired and eyed blushed as well." Your welcome!"

"Pine!" His mother Juniper called.

"I have to go now." Pine said." But I'll see you on your first day at Eldendor!"

Aurora nodded. Then she was left alone again .

Or so she thought." HEY RORY!!"

Eyes widened as she looked to the side of her.

"Pony!!" Aurora hugged the floating blue and yellow unicorn." Almost thought you weren't going to come.

Lavinia Ponyhead daughter to Queen Ponyhead. Aurora had been friends with her since she was little. Since both of there mothers were also friends when they were their age. Lavinia compared to her mother(from what her father tells her) was more well mannered .

"Come on , let's get out of here!" Lavinia exclaimed , pushing Rory out of her seat.

Aurora laughed." Ok ok I just need to tell my parents and go change. I need to take Toggy out for a walk anyway.

(Time skip)
Aurora POV

After I went to my room and changed into my Daily Royal dress, me , and Pony went for a stroll in the woods with Toggy.

"Ok Rory!" Pony said stopping me in my tracks. "I have a gift for your fourteenth B-day!"

Lavinia reached into her neck pocket( don't ask me weird pony head thing) and pulled out a necklace. It had a golden pendant." Oh pony it beautiful!" I exclaimed observing it.

"That's not it!" Lavinia then used her tongue to slide the pendent open.

Inside was a rainbow crystal." It's a Tramorfidian Crystal, they use it at that prison school called St . Olga's Reform School for Wayward princess's. Lavinia explained." The owner sent it to my mom since she was a former student there."

I placed the necklace in my pocket and smiled at my friend." Thanks pony."

Me Lavinia just walked(or floated for her) around the forest a little more. We've walked through them so many times we know our way around it.

I was suddenly caught of guard when I felt a shard pain in my arm." Ow! "

I looked down and saw a rock." Who threw that?"

"Who do you think freak ?" A voice female voice answered back.

And from behind a tree from behind us that was a good meters away. Rose Flowers came out , smirking , arms crossed.

"You'd think the supposed princess of Mewni would know what a rock is." Pacifica Waterson said came out from her hiding spot as well ." Guess Mud blood really is dumb."

Then suddenly all of the noble children came out. Dove Redbird  , Spartan Fields, Gold Stone , Gareth Mcknight , Alice Cross , and Dipper Firefly surrounded me and Pony.

"And she's suppose to be going to Elfendor soon. " Dipper scoffed." Intelligent? Ha! More like a dumb halfbreed princess! "

All of them laughed at his comment.

"I find it offending they would even let her in!" Alice commented, a disgusted look on her face.

I frowned at their comments. They hate me for not being like them. Full mewman . I'm only half mewman ,because my dad is human. And they find it profound that some one like me. A half breed. Was going to be the next queen of Mewni.

"Hey!" Pony suddenly got in front of me, protectively "You snobs leave Rory alone!"

"And you stay out of this little pony." Spartan said with an devilish smirk , leaning on Gold with his elbow on his shoulder." How about you leave before we make you."

"Then let's do it." Gold smirked looking at Rose who smirked back , and nodded. Each of them took out slingshots and there imo. Rocks.

They all started firing at me and pony , lucky pony could just float up and dodge.

But unlucky for me, they landed a few hits. In my legs, my arms, my shoulders , and my sides.

I could tell they were aiming for places that would be easy to cover up with shirts or dresses.

Unknowingly to me, pony was not happy about this. Yeah I could easily defend my self with my wand. But that would be wrong.

Pony grabbed the rocks that had landed on the ground , and shot back at them. Each of them immediately dropped their slingshots , trying to make sure they didn't get hit in the face. "Come on guys we've had our fun!" Rose yelled as she covered her face and dodging but still getting hit in the sides a few times.

After they are gone my arms were covered in marks and bruises. They hurt so badly, that tears gathered in my eyes.

"Rory?!?" Pony yelled both in anger and worry." What in Celestia's name was that?!??"

I just looked down not saying anything. I wrapped my arms around my self and tried to keep the tears of frustration and sadness from falling down my face.

"Your Mom gave you that wand for a reason Rory!" Lavinia yelled." You need to to learn how to use it, and speak up for your self! Sometimes you gotta do things your self! Or else those so called "future mewnisters " will walk all over you when your Queen!"

I knew she was right." You know I don't like violence pony !"

The soon to be argument was soon interrupted when we suddenly heard a pig goat shriek." Toggy?!?" I stood." Toggy where are you?!?" I called out.

Suddenly we see Toggy chasing a boy out of the bushes. He had dark skin , a teal jacket and blue jeans on from .

He falls right in front of us. Face first into the grass.

He lifted his face from the ground , got up quickly dusting himself off. He notices us , and awkwardly said. "Um.....Hi..."

"Hi." I said just as awkwardly. Who in celestial name was this boy ? And what was he doing in this part of the woods?

I subconsciously took out my wand, just Incase this boy was here to harm me and pony. I might be against violence, but no one hurts my family or friends.

"What is your name?" I asked.

"Sam." The boy now known as "Sam" answered.

"Why in world are here is this forest ?" I asked." All alone too?"

"I-I don't know , I just woke up in the middle of forest. I wandered around little bit , and now I'm here." He answered.

"Who are your parents? I'm sure my parents could get a hold of them, that way you can go home." I suggested. Even though Pony shook her head, a disproving look on her face.

"Parents?" He questioned with a confused face." I dent remember." Now it was my turn to look confused." You don't remember? Your parent, your mom and dad? Your family?"

The boy just shook his head ." I don't remember anything before waking up."

"Well I can help you still." I smiled." I'm sure my mom has a suggestion." I grabbed his wrist." Come on let's go to the castle."

"Rory no!" Pony exclaimed ." For all we know he could be some criminal who's just putting on an act just to get into the castle!"

"We can't just leave him Her we-." I was suddenly pushed. I looked up and saw the boy with his arms up." Hey! What was that.............for?" I noticed why he had pushed me.

"Oh my goodness!" Ponyhead exclaimed in shock.

"It came from the bushes." Sam said pulling out the arrow from the tree." I think some one tried to kill you."

I was shocked. Someone tried to kill me. They tried to kill me. Dear Celestia.

"We need to get back to the castle." I said getting up and dusting my dress off , then grabbing my wand. I made it glow since someone could attack at any moment. "Let's go."

(Time skip / commercial)

Aurora POV

After we had made it to the castle , and told my parents about what had happened in Forest, they advised me to show Sam around with Pony.  They were also going to attempt to help him as well as thanks for saving me, they no me not to leave the castle alone as they talk with the Royal magic teacher.

I could tell Pony was mad about it. Also because I didn't tell them again about the nobles bullying

"And this is my room!" I said standing in front of my door.

"Cool." Sam said nonchalantly." So what are your parents going to do?"

"They're still discussing it. Possibly with the Royal teacher . "I answered." Come on it getting late, I'll show to the guest room."

As we traveled a knight saw Sam." What are doing in the castle boy? Squires breaks aren't for another hour."

Third Person POV

"What? I'm sorry I'm not-." Sam was cut off when the man suddenly grabbed his wrist, and started pulling him down the hall.

"The princess has no time for talking! She's very busy with what happened!" The man pulled him outside into a training field." You both can talk after training!"

Sam was then handed a wooden sword. It was a decent size , having a black painted hilt , yellow hearts in the middle and on the bottom.

He was then put in training protection gear. Bring pads on his hand and upper arm and on his knees , a shield and a helmet.

"Ok now that everyone is here. We're going to try one against many." The man pointed to Sam. "Since you wanted to slack of . Your going first!"

" But I'm not-"

"No back talk!! Begin!!"

Third Person POV

Many squire's start to attack Sam ruthlessly. One try's to land a hit but Sam flips away. One try's to land a blow on his side, he blocks it. Then he threw his sword over them flipped over the . He landed , sword landing in his hand. He got into a stance.

"Let's dance."

(From the castle )

The King and Queen watched Sam battle all of the squires. Even when they thought the other knights in training had the upper hand, Sam would counter it.

And after ten mount he had defeated all of them.

"That was amazing!" They heard their daughter say. She had a shocked look like everyone else." Where did you learn that Sam?"

Sam shrugged." I really don't know."

"He seems to be well trained ." A little man with a jewel in his head by the name of Glossaryck comments as he floated by the king and Queen.

"Back to the topic at hand." Star said, seriousness in her voice.

"Of course your highness." The pudding loving being replied. He floated back to the little journal that used to be Stars new version of the spell book. I had gotten bigger due to Glossaryck adding all the information from the previous spell book in.

"I think your best bet is sending the princess to earth. That way she can keep a safe distance from this  assassin, and practice her magic." Glossaryck then looked towards the castle window." And send that boy as well. He will be her bodyguard."

Star looked down. She didn't want to send her little sunshine away. She wanted so badly for her to be here in Mewni. To watch her create new spells. Now she doesn't even know when her little girl will come back. Would she even be here when her song day festival roles around?!??!!

"Star?" The Queen looked over at her beloved husband. He smiled sadly." It's for the best. "

Star nodded tears in her bright blue eyes. "We send  her to earth tonight. I'll get  the royal tailor to make sure all her clothes are ready....."

(Later)

It was the middle of the night that the Queen went to her daughters room. She opened the door to the princess room. She quickly went to her daughters side.

She looked down at her sadly. She hated this. She's sure her daughter will to after telling her. She only hopes she won't get hate her . And this whole ordeal blows over quickly. She took a deep breath and started to shake her daughters shoulder.

"Rory . Sunshine wake up we need to go." She said loudly.

The dawn princess groaned but got up slowly. She rubbed one  her eyes looking at her mother. "What's happening mom? "

"There's no time. Pack what you need and other necessities ok. Meet me and farther in the garden." She left shutting the door behind her.

Though confused Aurora out of bed and used the spell "levitato " to float everything she needed. Then she headed to the garden in her pajamas.

Once there, she saw her Mother , Farther, and Sam there. Sam also had a blue duffel bag with him.

"Mom ? What's going on?" Aurora asked.

"Sunshine.... um I'm sorry but you have to go to earth." Star said looking down with a sad expression.
Rory was still confused asked." I don't get it , what's so bad about that?"

"We...... don't- I mean." Star took a deep breath." We don't when you'll be able to come back sweetie. With what happened,  it could take weeks maybe even months until you can come home. Without the risk of your life being taken away."

Rory had a look of shock and horror on her face."W-What ? Mom no please! I'll just stay in the castle! ".

"That going to work sunshine. That would make you like a prisoner in your own home. We don't even know who sent that assassin here. We don't even know if it was some one close to us!! The best thing we can do is get you off Mewni where they can't get you." Her dad explained.

"But but." Rory tried to say but her mom hugged her tight silencing her. 

"It's for the best." Star pulled away from her then kissed her forehead. "If another attempt is made... you may not be so lucky. I can't risk that." Star turned her head to Marco and nodded.

Marco got out his Dimensional scissors and opened a portal to earth.

"Come on you two. Time to go."

Sam and Aurora walked towards it. Rory having tears in her eyes. "Take care of her Sam ." Marco said to the dark skinned boy who nodded. He then kneeled before Aurora and gave them to his little princess. "These will help if you need to get out of a situation fast. Use them wisely unlike I did at your age." Aurora nodded.

Marco then hugged her." I'll make sure you'll come back to Mewni without worrying about anything. Aurora again nodded. Hugging her farther back.

Her and Sam then walked through the portal. In front of a all to familiar house. All it's windows having a golden glow in the night sky. Even the Mewni tower that was sticking out of its side. The front door opened showing an elderly couple. Mr and Mrs Diaz. Rory's grandparents. They had a birth cake with candles and a little golden Rory on top. They smiled. "Happy birthday Aurora !!"

Rory smiled sadly letting out a sob. She ran to them. Dropping her luggage by her feet and hugging them tightly.  

They all went into the house as the sun came up at dawn.

Hey guys sorry I've been out for like What a year? I had a lot going on and my self esteem well...... is completely nonexistent and I put my self down about my stories being good or bad.
