"Why do you even believe this letter mum, it's obviously fake. It makes no sense. I mean a witch? What in hell would make you believe that? No you don't believe it. You're just playing along with the prank that someone is obviously playing on me" I said very irritated. 

 "I'm not playing along with anything! Someone proved it to me, and I would have believed it even she hadn't because of something, okay, and don't talk to me like that" 

 Then a woman with her hair in a tight bun, and square framed glasses, with a kind smile, walked in. 

 "Yes, it is true" she said, and she pulled out her wand. "I'm professor Mcgonagall. I am going to tell you a little about the wizarding world." 

 And she did. She didn't tell me absolutely everything, but she told me the basics. "We best be off to Diagon Alley now. We will be back later. "

"Bye mum, love you, see you later, after I shop for stuff for being a witch. Normal stuff."

 She laughed. "Love you sweetie, see you"

And we were off. Off to Diagon Alley, where we would get everything needed for my new, magical, school. 

After awhile we stopped at a bar, with a sign stating The Leaky Cauldron, obviously a bar. "What the hell? A bar?"

 "Don't speak to me like that, I'm your professor, you will treat me with respect. The entrance to Diagon Alley is thorough here."

 "Okay, okay" I said, and quickly added "Professor" although why the entrance would be in a bar is beyond me.

We walked inside and she said something to the bartender, and she led me over to a brick wall. She then tapped on some certain bricks with her wand, and it opened for us to walk through. 

When we did, we stepped into a busy street, not filled with regular dressed people, but people wearing robes, as Professor Mcgonagall was. A few people were wearing regular clothes, but not many. The wall closed behind us as soon as we stepped through.

I was shocked to see so many oddly dressed people, and the stores were, perhaps even stranger. Stores for all kinds of stuff, abnormal stuff.

She gave me a pouch of coins that I had never seen before, there were three kinds. Then she walked over to a shop in which according to the sign, was Ollivander's wand shop.

We walked in and I saw a old man taking gold from someone my presumably my age in turn for a wand. 

The customer walked away with their parents, and the old salesman, Ollivander, I'm guessing, noticed us. He walked to the shelves one the other side of the room, took one, and handed it to me. 

 "Uh... Thanks"

 "Try it out. Just give it a wave." 

 And so I did. It made the leg of his desk explode. That was not the right one for me. We tried a few more, but they had similar reactions. A few minutes later, we found the right one. It was 12 inches, veela hair, vine wood, flexible. I had no idea what a veela was, I made a mental note to ask later.

Professor Mcgonagal paid for the wand and we left the building. 

Next we went to Flourish and Blotts for my books, there was quite a few. A charms book, a book about the history of magic, a potions book, a Transfiguration one, too.

Then we went to Madam Malkin's Robes for all Occasions, and I soon had some robes, specifically Hogwarts robes. 

When I walked out I tripped and bumped into a boy my age with platinum blond hair. 

"Watch where you're going" he sneered at me.

I just said "Sorry" and left the building.

We then went to Eeylops Owl Emporium. After awhile I picked out a really pretty, soft, female, striped owl.

I was grateful when she said we were done, and we could head home. 

Mum was waiting for me on the couch when I got back. 

She asked me a lot of questions, and I answered them the best I could. 

Professor Mcgonagal left, but before she did, she reminded us of the date to which I was to go to platform 9 3/4 (She explained that also). 

We spent as much time as we could together before I had to leave, as Hogwarts is a boarding school. 

I told my friends that I was going to a boarding school, not specifying a name. I don't have any close friends but I have three friends. They were slightly disappointed, but that's it.
