Chapter - 8
Raylene's Birthday, A Gift

The beautiful light caresses my face as I struggle to open my eyes. I squint and hum a little trying to calm my muscles. I squirmed, wanting to stretch and enjoy the pleasant morning.

I slowly open my eyes only to see a pair of dark brown orbs already looking at me.

"Morning, RayRay."

Being a little lazy to speak, I simply smile looking at him with a small pout forming on my lips.

Jimin's delicate puffy hair covering his forehead, a little messy indicates he had just woken up too. His eyes were a little swollen from the sleep which only made him look more cuter.

"I fell asleep, huh?"

I mutter softly with sleep coating my words and their pronunciation.

"Mhm, me too."

He says as he pushes my dark brown tresses away from my eyes.

"How long were we asleep for?"

Jimin slightly turns around searching for the clock.

"Uh, it's 9 in the morning."

That doesn't make sense to me. I remember waking up from my nightmare in the morning.

"We slept the whole day?"

Before Jimin could even assert his confusion, someone opens the door.

"Finally, the two snuggle birds are awake."

Jin sighs as he turns around and yells,
"You both can come in!" as two men walk inside.

"Hobi Oppa and Joon Oppa, you are back!!"

I literally jump out of the bed eager to hug them. I was pretty excited to meet them after ages. Two years was a long time and wow, they look the same.

Joon Oppa and I were close as we spent a lot of time together reading at the library.  Jimin was always jealous of me spending more time with his elder brother than him.

I free myself of the hug and look around due to the silence spreading in the room. I turn around to find Jimin setting his hair as he looks at me surprised.

"Huh? What's wrong Jiminie?"

I look at Jin who also had the same look.

What am I missing?

"Jin Oppa?"

I call out hoping he would answer.

All the men in the room were what I would call, dumbfounded.

About what though?

Everything seemed normal to me, except for the fact we were in the 21st century.

I blink as think of anything that could explain the situation at hand as Jimin finally speaks, "You remember us all?"

Oh. My. God.

It finally made sense. My memories.

My memories were back.

Partially.

I am Lee Raylene.

I am from the 31st century.

I knew the seven brothers.

I knew they were vampires. I knew I was Jimin's Soulmate.

But I didn't remember my life, as whole.

I didn't realise Jimin standing in front of me as he places both his hand on my shoulders.

"Look at me RayRay. Don't suffocate yourself within your thoughts. Speak, we can figure it out together." He says as I try to find words to tell him that I still have no clue as to what I know and do not.

"I, I remember the basics: 31st century, vampires, brothers, their names and how I met them."

"That's it?"

I nod in agreement as he pulls me into a hearty hug. "You did great. I'm sure you'll be getting back your memories in no time. Don't pry over it, mhm?"

Jimin was careful as to not put more pressure on the wounds.

Wait, the stitches don't hurt anymore.

I push Jimin away due to the sudden thought as I speak gibberish words hoping that would make much sense.

I didn't realise I was hopping a little due to the sudden stimulus of confusions.

Jimin immediately places one of this hand on my jaw as my lips automatically pucker making me stop my speech.

I try to speak once again but I knew I couldn't as someone helps me. "Let her talk Jimin-ah." Namjoon says as Jimin lets go of my jaw.

Ouch. That was a little harsh.

But I immediately mutter whatever I had to say, "The wound, doesn't hurt anymore!! I feel free and relaxed!!"

Park Jimin's POV

"It doesn't?" I ask surprised and confused. I immediately turn to Jin and ask him something that was caused my first confusion this morning.

"How long were we asleep for, Hyung?"

Jin looked like he expected the question as he gives me a 'finally-you've-asked' look as he says, "Four days."

What?!

"Four days?!" Raylene and I literally yell super baffled over the revelation.

"I'm not one to joke, Jimin-ah. It's true, you've been asleep for four days."

"So today's the 8th of October?"

"Yes."

Jin says as I look at Raylene and back at the others in the room as Jin continues. "We'll leave you both to get ready and come down for breakfast."

Just like that the three of them disappear from the room as I lock the door. I turn to Raylene who looked deep in thoughts as I walk up to her.

I really liked dragging my hand through her hair and that's exactly what I did. I liked how she reacts to my touches like a cat, bending towards me to feel more.

She slowly turns around to lean on the window ledge as she looks at the cherry blossom tree.

Japan wasn't left unforgotten.

I hug her from behind as he succumbs into my warmth and hold. I place my chin on her shoulder as I look at the cherry blossom myself as I speak, "Raylene-ah, Happy Birthday."

She slowly tilts her head to look at me with puzzlement swirling her eyes.

"You share the same birth date with Cheriko Ray. So it's your birthday too, today."

"Really?" she softly mutters as I hum into her neck.

"Wanna go out anywhere today?" I ask wanting to take her out on a date. It's been a while.

"Anywhere?" she asks as I chuckle a little.

"Don't forget that your boyfriend can teleport."I say as I place a chaste yet affectionate kiss on her neck.

I immediately twirl her around and lift her up in the air and place her on the window ledge as I stand in between her legs.

I liked how my heart thumped whenever she was near me. I look into her eyes as find the emotions that soothe my inner soul. Her eyes were luminous and striking that I couldn't help but get overwhelmed myself as I look away.

Raylene immediately cups my face as she makes me look at her as she whispers, "Where are you planning to take me to, Mr.Park?"

What a sly kitten. Can I even love her any more than I already do?

Definitely.

"Didn't I leave that option to you, Miss Lee?"

As soon as those words leave my mouth, Raylene presses both her lips together as her eyes wander around the room. She fiddled her fingers, she was thinking. I'm positive I know where she wants to go.

A place she's always wanted to visit.

She looks at me again and I'm sure by now the place's name was at the tip of her tongue. She was definitely a little hesitant to name it.

"You know what?" she asks me as I raise both my eyebrows questioningly.

"Surprise me."

"You sure, RayRay?"

"Positive."

"That's great! Let's get you ready for the date now, shall we?"

Before she could reply I grab an opportunity to steal a kiss from her and peck her lips.

She immediately became a blushing mess. Looks like the bold kitten became a softie.

She pushes me slightly as I let her jump off the window ledge as she grabs a pair of her clothes and runs into the washroom.

I look at her flustered self as I smile contently. It was Raylene's birthday and the best gift she accepted today was a part of her memories. I'm glad she remembers me. I'm glad she remembered my brothers.

I couldn't wait to take her out to the place she's always been wanting to go.

I'm back with another cute little fluffy chapter.

They were cuddling and snuggling each other for four days straight. Ah I'm sobbing. So cute(≧(ｴ)≦ )

I can't help but ship Jimin and Raylene myself!
