Aurora's POV

"I can't believed that worked" I state as we slow down.

"I am a genius" Simba states placing a paw on his chest.

"Hey genius, it was my idea" Nala tells him.

"Yeah but I pulled it off" Simba tells her.

"With us" Nala and I state.

"Oh yeah" Simba says and tries to tackle us to the ground. But Nala and I managed to pin him down.

"Hey" I say smiling.

"Pinned you" Nala says happily.

"Hey let me up" Simba tells us annoyed. We get off him and I looked around as Nala closed her eyes. Then suddenly Simba rammed into us sending us down a steep hill. Nala pinned Simba while I leaded on my front paw and held in a cry of pain.

"Pinned you again" Nala says proudly. I sit up inspecting my paw to see it is swollen. I don't believe it is broken just sprained. Suddenly a blast of steam caught all our attention. Nala and Simba went first as I followed them slowly hiding my pain.

"This is it we made it" Simba states and we look over one of the tasks to see the whole graveyard.

"Whoa" Nala and Simba say as we look at the view.

"We could get in big trouble" I tell them.

"I know" Simba chuckles as we turn towards an elephant's skull.

"I wonder if it's brains are still in there" Nala wonders out loud.

"There's only one way to know, come on let's go check it out" Simba says heading towards the entrance as we follow.

"Halt! The only checking out you'll do will be to check out of here" Zazu states as he appears in front of Simba.

"Oh man" Simba says turning away from Zazu.

"You're way beyond the bounders of the pride lands" Zazu tells us.

"You never said we were leaving the pride lands Simba" I tell him annoyed.

"It's not that bad Aurora, banana beak is scared" Simba assures me.

"That's mister banana beak to you fuzzy and we have to leave right now. We are all in very real danger" Zazu tells him.

"Danger ha, I laugh in the face of danger" Simba states walking around Zazu before laughing.

"Haha heehee" laughs sounded from behind him and he jumped back over to Nala & I. While Zazu stood in front of us with his wings out. As three hyenas appeared one female and two males.

"Well well Banzia what have we here?" the female asks one of the males.

"Hm I don't know Shenzi, what do you think Ed?" Banzai asks the last hyena who just laughs. "Just what I was thinking, a group of trespassers" Banzai states. We all back away slightly.

"And quite by accident let me assure you" Zazu assures them. We try to leave, but Shenzi steps on Zazu's tail. Meanwhile Banzia and Ed circled me & the other two.

"I know you, you're Mufasa's little stooge" she states smirking.

"I madam am the kings major dodo" Zazu says importantly.

"And that'd make you?" Shenzi asks as all three of the hyenas circled us.

"The future king" Simba tells her.

"Simba be quiet" I tell him while trying to keep an eye on the hyenas.

"Do you know what we do to Kings who step out of their kingdom?" Shenzi asks.

"You can't do anything to me" Simba tells her.

"Actually they can, we are on their land" Zazu tells him.

"But Zazu you told us they are nothing but mangy stupid poachers" I whisper.

"IX nay on the upid-stay" Zazu murmurs.

"Whole are you calling upid-stay?" Banzai demands.

"My my, look at the sun we have to go" Zazu states as we try to leave.

"What's the hurry? We'd love you to stay around for dinner" Shenzi states as they blocked our way.

"Yeah, we could have whatever's lying around" Banzia states laughing. While they all laughed we snuck away through their legs. Once passed them we run for it and I ignored the pain in my ankle due to the adrenaline running through me.

"Did we lose them?" Nala asks as we stop for a breather.

"I think so" I tell her.

"Where's Zazu?" Simba asks and we look around for the bird. In the end we backtracked and found him captured by the hyenas. We watched as Banzai put him in a gazer before he was shot into the air. (Link: http://68.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_mbp00koNWI1rncdgao1_500.gif .)

"Hey why don't you pick on someone your own size" Simba demands. Making us known to the hyenas.

"Like you" Shenzi states smiling wickedly.

"Opps" Simba states and we run for it my ankle throbbing madly. Especially as we started to climb a pile of elephant bones.

"Help" I call as I start to fall to the other two. They notice and run to help me straight away. Nala pushes me up the pile as Simba scratches Shenzi on her cheek. We reached a cave that was a dead end "now what Simba?" I ask.

"Up there" Nala states and we climb on an elephant skeleton. We tried jumping to reach the ledge Nala had pointed out. But the bones broke under our weight and we tumble to the ground. I land of my bad ankle and whine out loud in pain. "Aurora" Nala says approaching me.

"Here kitty kitty" Banzai states as he and the other two hyenas enter the cave. Nala stands over me protectively as Simba stood in front of us. He tries to roar, but as he is young it is weak. "That was it?" Banzai asks as he laughs with the other two.

"Come on do it again" Shenzi tells Simba. He does so again, but a stronger roar over powers his own. Dad appears and starts fighting the hyenas before bringing them to his mercy.

"Dad" I say in relief relaxing knowing we were safe.

"Silence!" he roars and the hyenas shut up. "If you ever come near my son or daughter again" he states.

"These are your cubs all yours, did you know that?" Shenzi asks Banzai.

"Me I did not know, you?" he asks her.

"No of course not" Shenzi states.

"Ed?" they ask the last hyena and he nods his head rapidly. Father roars in anger and the hyenas say 'bye' before running away. Zazu lands next to dad as I follow the other two slowly.

"Dad I..." Simba tries to explain.

"You deliberately disobeyed me" dad tells him annoyed. "Because of your actions Aurora is hurt" he states. They all look at me and Simba notices my swollen paw.

"Dad, Aurora I'm sorry" Simba says lowering his head in shame.

"Let's go home" dad states picking me up and placing me on his back. "Rest Aurora. Rafiki will look at your paw when we reach the pride lands" he assures me. I lay down on his back and close my eyes exhausted. I fall asleep until he wakes me up when we reach Rafiki's tree. Who gently takes me off dad's back as he laid down.

"It should be ok, she just needs to rest and stay off her paw for the night. It is only a bad sprain" Rafiki states after wrapping my ankle. He then places me down and Nala allows me to lean against her as we continue our journey home.

"Zazu take Aurora and Nala home I've got to teach my son a lesson. Tell Sarabi what has happened to Aurora" dad orders. Zazu comes over to us and wishes Simba luck before leading Nala & I to pride rock. Mum and Sarafina meet us on the ground and picked us up by our scruff.  Before carrying us into the den as Zazu informed mum of what has happened.

"Aurora I think it is best you not play with the others tomorrow and until your ankle is healed" mum states. "Mufasa says he'll take you out on a tour tomorrow of the pride lands. He'll carry you on your back to ensure you don't hurt yourself farther. Do you understand Aurora?" she asks.

"Yes Mum I understand" I tell her before closing my eyes still exhausted. She told me I was safe now and to sleep. That is exactly what I did and I dreamed of my future adventure outside of pride rock with father.
