I want to call it a day
But my mind won't allow
I guess that I'll hit the hay
So I can stop thinking about how

I'll let it go
I'll keep my mouth shut
So I can't be caught up by the flow

Why do even say that
You care about me?
If you just don't mean it
Take your lies and let me be
I may overreact
But you know how I am
I can jump overly fast
In conclusions, that's why I'm damned

I know you didn't mean to
Make me tear up tonight
But now that I am blue
Somehow we got to make it right
I'll text you in the morning
Or maybe I won't
I took tonight as a warning
You should take this as a thank you note

'Cause for a split second
I thought I was losing you
It got me so threatened
That it stopped my heart, if I can be true
But I've finally learnt
How much I should treasure
All the moments we left unburnt
And I swear, I'm trying to be better
