Time has never felt this slow
There's no place where I could go
Outside it's heavily thundering
While I'm staring at the ceiling, wondering

Can I make rights from my wrongs?
Or will I be here alone all along?
Will my plans all fall down,
Before you'll be back in town?

I have been counting the days,
How long have I been stuck in this phase?
Scratched lines adorning the walls
One hundred if I count them all

If I'll give you the entrance key
Would you illuminate the room for me?
You don't need to be so tough
One gaze would be enough

And if my darkened, deepened soul
Won't be strong enough to take control
Will you be here for me?
Will you be my light-to-be?
