Chapter 3
"so. Aurelia, tell me how you found me yet i can't find you" he takes some scotch.
"people James, it's all about the people. i play for one side but get the best of both worlds, you can't find me unless i want you too" i cross my legs
"so you're a good girl who does bad things once in a while" i shrug, he was trying to fish for information. not s lucky when it comes to me.
"fishing is usually your strong point, yet it's not working with me. so let's play a game, I'll give you five questions just five so choose carefully. i will answer them the best i can. if you chose a bad question, i won't answer it and one of your little plans goes bye -bye." i told him and i leant forward.
"would you like to play" i whisper. he laughs and i sit back in my chair.
"i like you. i really like you." he grins "you Aurelia Holmes are brilliant. okay i will play. first question" he places his hands together and thinks of one.
"why do you only kill meant who are cheaters?" oh he was good i smile.
"very good James Moriarty, very good indeed. would you like the full boring tale or the short version?" i ask.
"the long version, the short will fill me with none useful questions." he states i nod.
"i fancy a spot of lunch." i click my fingers and ask for the menu, we order and i begin."
*James*
She sits across from me in such superior beauty. ever since that night at the club she has been on my mind its annoying. normally i wouldn't bore myself with such travail matters a women but something about Aurelia sparked interest and i had to know more.
"one thing you must understand is that i do not originate from absolute wealth. my eldest brother is someone very high up and knows all the right people and is paid well. hence as a big brother duty he provides for me given i stay out of trouble. Anyway back to the beginning of the cheater. i was seventeen and in boarding school mixed boys and girls and such. i at the time had always looked up to my brothers and believe mostly what they said.
Especially about love, being just a chemical. i never really believed in it till i met Duncan, he was the most kindest guy i would ever thought to meet. he treated me right and never let me down, for all intense and purposes he was my perfect boyfriend. it was out 2 year anniversary and by this time i was 19. i hoped and thought he was going to propose, he arranged a birthday party for me and invited all my friends and family which was hard in itself but blah.
My Parents, Mycroft and Sherlock all attended and mingled that was until Sherlock caught sight of Duncan which was right when i was blowing out my candles. he infornt of everyone punched Duncan, i was more than livid asking him why he would the reply. he was cheating, it didn't stop there. Sherlock like the rest of us likes to show off and listed every little detail showing how he was and with my best friend at the time.
i being blinded by love slapped him and called him a liar and ordered him out never to speak to me again. he left and three weeks later on a boring ordinary day i walk past a cafe just going to do something or other and in the back sat Duncan with none other than my best friend. he had his arms wrapped around her kissing her, but what the real sucker puch was that a couple of days before i saw a small box, i knew it was a ring and it was beautiful. but i wasn't the one wearing it" She told me as we sat. lunch had been bought and i was eating.
"bastard. so what did you do?" i asked
"what any normal sane person would do" i shrugged "i kidnapped and tortured them. i snapped what else was i going to do. it was fun though oh i wish you could have seen them they were so scared. begging, apologising everything." she sighed blissfully. "it was three days. before the passed...with a little help and ever since then i have had a vendetta against those who cheat on them who don't deserve it." she finished
"wow that is...wow" she shrugged
"three questions" Aurelia states taking some wine. i thought about it and she continued eating
"why did you contact me? you are well hidden not even i could find you, you could have carried on as normal and never have to see me again unless you wanted to." i wonder, i was one i wanted to ask anyone who came close to her was killed before they could tell me and i was left in the dark.
"i like you James, you're not boring and like me your a smart devil" she smirked toying with her glass. there was defiantly something about her that made me want to just have her and in every sense and meaning of the word. she was remarkable and always kept me on my toes. I've only met her twice so what does that say. i chuckled as i observed and took in everything she had said. which brought two questions. but if i asked them i would lose the one i wanted to ask.
was i willing to take the risk.
"did you ever talk to your brother again if not why not?" my two questions most likely gone when i saw something flicker in her eyes.
"looks like someone wants this little date to end eh... no never, i could never forgive him for humiliating me like that. if he notices and told me alone i would have thanked him and said sorry but the fact that he had no concept for my feelings i never talked to him again." she finished her meal and drink before standing i did the same.
"it was nice seeing you again James Moriarty. Goodbye" she turned to leave but i threw my napkin down and took her wrist.
"i want to see you again" i stated.
"five questions all gone" she replied but i never let go.
"it was a statement not a question. if you were anyone else i wouldn't care, if you were some simple girl driven by revenge and hatred i couldn't care less. but you Aurelia Holmes are not simple, you are far from it and it drives me insane that no matter how many times i look at you or talk to you. i can never figure you out myself. so i. want. to. see. you again" i spell out she turns and removes my hand from her wrist. before smiling at me.
"all good things come to those who wait. James. Patience is a virtue" she giggles backing away from me and leaving.
