five
Aurelia wakes around ten and shakes Harry's shoulders gently. She really has to pee and, if he doesn't wake up soon, there's a high chance that she will hurt herself trying to find the bathroom.
"Harry. Harry, please wake up."
Harry groans and rubs his eyes. The sun is high in the sky and a single bright ray manages to hit his eyes as he moves, "Hmm, what is it?"
Aurelia feels bad for waking him up, but she really needs to use the bathroom and she doesn't want to hurt herself or break something in the room that she didn't know was there.
"I really need to pee, but I don't know where it is and I don't want to hurt myself."
Harry yawns and rubs his eyes a second time because the sleep still lingers, "Oh, yeah. Okay. Yeah. Hold on a second."
She feels bad that he has to help her because he sounds beyond tired and she really doubts that he slept on the plane. "I'm sorry."
Harry laughs lightly as he gets out of bed and makes his way over to Aurelia's side to help her. "No, no don't worry about it. I'm just a heavy sleeper and a slow riser."
Aurelia chews on her bottom lips because she really feels bad about waking him up just so she could use the bathroom. She wouldn't have had to if she could have managed to stay awake long enough for him to show her where the bathroom was the night before.
"Are you sure?"
Harry goes to the extent of helping her to the toilet, for which she's very grateful, "Positive. I'll be right outside the door. Just call me when you need me, okay?"
Aurelia nods and offers him a sleepy smile, "Okay, thank you."
It's not long before she's calling him and he's certainly much more awake when he walks in to help her back out. "Don't be sorry for asking me to help you, it isn't something you can help."
Aurelia sighs because she knows that she apologizes far too much for things that she can't control. It's become a habit because she really hates having to depend on people to do even the simplest of things.
"I know. I just feel really bad whenever it's someone who isn't one of my parents."
Harry laughs lightly because he thinks that it's adorable how worried she is about apologizing to everyone who helps her. "Aurelia, I really don't mind at all. Do you want to go back to bed or get ready for whatever adventure you have planned for today?"
"Get ready for the adventure that we have planned for today. Guess what?"
Harry laughs as he leads her back to the bed so she can sit down for a moment as he sifts through her clothes to find something for her to wear. "What?"
Aurelia grins and laughs at words she hasn't spoken yet, "You get to see my underwear and me in them! That must be exciting, or at least, so I've heard."
This time he laughs louder than he intends to because he wasn't expecting her to say that at all. He doesn't care about getting to see her in her underwear, even though the thought does have blood rising to his cheeks, he only cares about seeing her heart and capturing its love.
"Have I told you how funny you are yet?"
Aurelia's grin grows as she kicks her feet against the bed as if she's a child again, "No, but I'd like to think that I am. Thank you for confirming that."
Harry laughs again as he opens her suitcase, "Alright, is there anything specific the comedian would like to wear?"
Aurelia laughs with him and decides that it couldn't possibly hurt to give him free reign in choosing her clothing. "Well, I have no idea what's in there, so I suppose not. Just something that you think will be comfortable in this weather."
Harry continues to laugh because letting him choose what she'll wear can go one of two ways. The first way is that she's comfortable and likes his choices and the second way is that she hates his choices and is super uncomfortable all day. He knows that he has a weird sense of fashion too, or so he's been told, so it's a small bonus that she can't see the clothes that he picks out.
"Alright, I'll try my best. What do you want to wear? Shorts and a light shirt, or a dress?"
Aurelia shrugs because she honestly has no preference and it doesn't matter to her, as long as she isn't suffocating in the heat. "Surprise me."
Harry's still searching through her clothes when she adds, "I bet you're happy as hell with your choice of friends now, huh?"
He shrugs in return because he doesn't need to see her half naked to be happy that she's his friend. He's perfectly alright just with her company. "Oh yes, but I've been happy with my choice of friends since I met you. I don't need to see you half naked or otherwise to be happy with my choice of friends."
She's curious now because there's a small part of her that really thinks seeing girls half naked is what boys really want. Harry's answer makes her feel good, but she can't really tell how serious he is because she can't see his face.
"Really?"
"Mmhhmm, really. Okay, how do you want to do this?"
Harry has picked out a nice outfit for her and he's standing by the bed with the clothes in his hand as he waits for her to tell him how to go about helping her get dressed.
Aurelia stands up and pulls her oversized night shirt over her head, "It works easier if you hand me one thing at a time in the proper direction that it should be in."
He wasn't expecting her to not care so much about exposing herself to him and he swallows hard. Granted, she still has a bra on, but it was still an unexpected action and it caught him off guard.
"Uh, okay. Yeah. Yeah, okay."
Aurelia laughs at how nervous he's suddenly become. She knows that her quick action surprised him, but she doesn't like wasting time, even if she is a little nervous because he's the first guy to ever see her like this.
"Calm down. Would you mind facing the other way while I change my underwear and whatnot? I don't care if you see me in them because I'm still covered but, sorry to break it to you, no nakedness for you, my dear friend."
She can't see how bright his smile is as he laughs but she wishes that she can because she knows that it's beautiful. Smiles are one of the things that she misses the most because she thinks that smiles tell people a lot and, to her, they are one of the gateways to the heart.
Harry jokes about it as he rifles through the clothes in his hand to find what she needs first. "Darn, maybe next time. Okay, here's your underwear, just tell me when."
He turns around to face the opposite wall with a huge grin on his face. He respects her wishes and how she handles herself, especially her humor in the matter, and he loves how she isn't afraid to speak her mind.
"Okay, next."
He doesn't have to stay facing the wall for much longer and he pauses before he hands her the dress that he's picked out, "Do you want me to help you put your dress on, so you don't get stuck?"
Aurelia laughs softly because she knows that he doesn't have to. Sure, she might have a little trouble with it, but she can easily manage on her own. She does want his help though just because he's offered and it is less of a struggle on her end.
"Yes, please."
She lifts her arms and bites back a smile as Harry's gentle hands pull the moderately thin material down her body and stop just at her knees where the dress ends.
His hands felt like warm feathers, but she's not going to tell him that.
It took him a while to help her finish and he was even sweet enough to do her makeup. He swore up and down that he used to do his mother's and his sister's makeup all the time, so she trusted him not to make her look like a troll.
As they head out to catch a cab Aurelia asks, "Okay, so, weird question. What dress am I wearing and how did you do my makeup?"
Harry grins and proposes and ultimatum, "I'll tell you, if you tell me where we're going and what we're doing today."
Aurelia smiles softly, "Fair is fair. We're going to go on one of those pyramid tours. I've always wanted to do that and it doesn't really matter that I can't see because hieroglyphs are pretty raised most of the time, so I can still feel what I wanted to see."
Harry smiles to himself, "I really admire how you continue to do things that people wouldn't expect you to because you're blind. If you want, I can describe it to you too?"
Aurelia smiles brightens considerably. Harry seems to know what she likes without her even saying a word and she really likes that about him.
"I would like that very much. It's your turn now, what am I wearing and how did you do my makeup?"
Harry hums slightly, a smile still on his lips. "You are wearing a beautiful white dress that has a modest high collar and no sleeves. There are beautiful butterflies in black, yellow, and some with orange wings, and a nice array of blue, red, and black flowers that flow up from the bottom in a neat and spacious manner. It fits your figure perfectly and flares out a nice amount on the bottom. You've also got on a very nice pair of black flats.
"As for your makeup, you're wearing your usual red lipstick, which is still stunning by the way, and, if you take your glasses off, you've got on a light coat of mascara, so your eyelashes look very nice and full. In short, you look beautiful Aurelia."
Aurelia blushes at his last comment and the butterflies in her stomach are roused from their slumber, "You're very flattering, thank you."
Harry squeezes her hand lightly to let her know that they're stopping. He signaled for a cab as he replies, "Just speaking the truth."
Aurelia beams and nudges Harry's shoulder with her own, "What are you wearing?"
Someone gives them a funny look and Harry laughs, "You just made someone look at us like you were asking me to undress."
Aurelia laughs with him and shrugs her shoulders, "Oh well, I can't see you so I kind of have to ask if I would like to know. Are you going to tell me?"
Harry continues to laugh and he shakes his head at how funny Aurelia is without even trying. "I'm the idiot wearing super tight skinny jeans and my white Rolling Stones t-shirt. I don't know if you ever saw one before you lost your sight, but it's the light pastel colored one. I've got a nice pair of sunglasses that are currently up and holding my hair out of my face, and another nice pair that are hanging down the middle of my shirt. Add a pair of brown boots and a bit of facial hair, only because I haven't shaved, and there I am!"
Aurelia laughs at the notion of his sunglasses, "Why on earth do you have two pairs of sunglasses on you?"
Harry shrugs as he finally catches a cab for the two of them, "Dunno, why not?"
He watches how her nose scrunches up when she laughs and how her cheeks flush and how a cute little dimple appears in her left cheek as she smiles. Harry absolutely adores her already and he hasn't even known her for a month.
"You're certainly something else, Harry. Your habit of staring is still going strong, I see."
Harry laughs as he helps her into the backseat of the cab, "I'm sorry, would you like me to just keep my eyes closed all the time so we can have blind adventures and so that I can't admire you?"
Aurelia giggles, she actually giggles and Harry swears that he stops everything in that one moment just to remember the beautiful sound.
"Yes, of course because one blind person isn't enough hassle! You flatter me so much that you make it so hard for me to not ask you what you look like, I hope that you know that."
Harry shuts the door and gives the driver the address before he gives Aurelia his full attention, "It does?"
Aurelia blushes, "Yes, it really does."
They sit in silence for a while and Aurelia starts to anxiously bounce her legs up and down because of how excited she is.
Harry chuckles softly after a little while and follows up with a question, "Are we actually going inside one?"
Aurelia nods, her smile nearly encompassing half of her face, "Yes! We're going into Cheops, it's the oldest and the biggest. I really hope that you don't have claustrophobia though..."
He laughs in response, "Nope! You're in the clear! I can't wait! I've never been really big on the Egyptian stuff, but it's still very cool!"
Aurelia contains her laughter and her smile seems to grow brighter by the second, "Yes, but I don't believe 'cool' is the word I would use."
Harry nudges her shoulder lightly with his own, "Oh yeah, smarty? Which word would you use?"
Aurelia nudges him back with a massive grin on her lips, "Something with more grace, like timeless or magnificent. Smart ass."
"You're adorable." The words fall from his lips with no restraint. He hadn't meant to say them aloud and he hopes that Aurelia didn't hear him.
Aurelia blushes at the sudden compliment, "What?"
Thankfully for Harry, they have reached their destination and the cab driver tells him to basically fork it over and get out. His eyes are slightly widened as he pays the man and helps Aurelia out carefully.
Almost instantly, Aurelia takes his hand because she knows that it's pointless for her to try to use her cane where they're going.
However, she hasn't forgotten what he said and she doesn't let him off easily, "Don't pretend that I didn't hear you. Could you tell me why you said that?"
Aurelia's not stupid, she knows why he said it. She's known that he likes her for a while now, but she thinks that good things take time and she doesn't know him like she wants to yet, so she asks to learn something new about him.
Harry hesitates for a moment before he decides that there's no point in hiding the truth because he already knows that she knows he likes her. "I uh-I was thinking out loud. You weren't supposed to hear that, actually."
Aurelia wears a soft smile as they walk over to where they're supposed to meet their tour guide with their hands swinging back and forth between them She really likes how he acknowledges whatever is going on between them and how he doesn't try to hide his feelings from her.
"Okay. Harry?"
Harry leads her to an area where they won't be in anyone's way and looks down at her with a bright smile, "Yes?"
Aurelia feels the heat rising in her cheeks because she can feel the way that he's smiling at her and it's the kind of feeling that someone gets when they see their crush from down the hall. "Could you tell me what they look like? I already know the general idea, but can you tell me what you see detail wise?"
A woman who's standing beside them smiles sadly because Aurelia's question had confirmed her thought that she's blind.
Harry squeezes her hand lightly because he feels bad when people look at her like that. There's nothing wrong with her because she's blind. If anything, the fact that she's blind means that there's so much more to love about her.
"Absolutely, but you know how terrible I am with words, so please bear with me."
Aurelia laughs. She thinks that he's funnier when he isn't trying, but either way she still finds him incredibly funny. Harry's the kind of funny that makes her laugh because sometimes he tries and sometimes he doesn't and he can laugh at himself even if someone is laughing at him and not at his joke.
"If it gets too bad, I'll be sure to tell you to shut up."
Harry grins at her response. He loves the way that she pokes fun at him because it means that she likes him in some way. In the short time that he's known her, he's learned that she's an incredibly nice person, so for her to be mean to him—even in a joking manner—it means that he's someone special to her, even if that special means that he's just her friend.
"I love how mean you are to me."
Aurelia laughs much harder than she did before and Harry's smile lifts around the edges, "Shut up and tell me about everything that I can't see. Except what you look like, please. I still don't want to know."
Harry tries to force himself to pout, but it's no use because there's always something to smile about when Aurelia's around. "Bummer. Okay, so you know that kind of yellowish color the sand is?"
She smiles at how simple he's being right from the start. "Yes, I do."
"It's not that color."
Aurelia laughs extensively and the sound hangs in the air around them for the briefest of moments and causes a few people to turn their heads and give them strange looks. "Thank you, Harry. I never would have guessed."
Harry laughs with her. "You're very welcome! Anyway, it's a little darker than that. But not much, maybe like a shade or two. It looks lighter from far away, but when you're next to it like we are, it's incredibly darker and aging quite well. There really aren't many missing or crumbling pieces, but there are a few."
He drops her hand and lightly grabs her wrist to place her hand on one of the ancient stones, "How about you tell me how it feels?"
Aurelia's speechless for a while, her hands running over the stones slowly and deliberately and her fingers trying their best to put the texture to memory: rough and smoothed over by time and the constant battery of the sand.
Harry's looking at her like she's the most amazing thing he's ever seen and it's only when she speaks that he snaps out of the trance she's accidentally put him in.
"Rough and smooth because, just like everything else, time has ravished what was once pristine. It feels just as ancient as it truly is. It's...amazing..."
Out of the corner of his eye, Harry sees the tour guide approaching and he hates the fact that he has to let Aurelia know and stop her moment with history, "Aurelia, our guide is nearly here. I'm sorry."
Aurelia shakes her head and smiles up at him, her hand slowly leaving the pyramid and searching for his.
"No, no don't be. Thank you so much. That was...brilliant."
She stands on her toes and is pleased with herself because she manages to successfully kiss his cheek. "Thank you."
She'd give anything just to get a glimpse of the smile on his lips, or the color that's risen to his cheeks, but it's enough for her just to know that he's smiling.
Harry wants to lean down and kiss her right then and there. He doesn't care about her lipstick or how many people will stare, he just wants her to know how much he values her and her happiness. He wants her to know that he cares about her so damn much even though they hardly know one another.
But he also respects what she wants and it's clear that she wants thing to flow smoothly and at a very slow pace because she's had so many people walk out on her before and she's delicate despite her outward demeanor that says otherwise.
Harry puts his best foot forward, grins, and squeezes her hand lightly to show her that he appreciates the gesture. "You're very welcome, Aurelia."
Their pyramid tour is one of the coolest things Harry has ever seen before, even though at times they did have to crouch. The only problem is that he spends more of his time watching Aurelia than he did paying attention to the tour itself.
She's so happy to be there even though she can't see and, by God, it's beautiful. Her smile doesn't skip a beat and her hands memorize every little thing that they can as they venture through the massive structure.
One they finally make it out Harry asks, "Did you feel everything that you wanted to?"
Aurelia beams and practically jumps in place, "Yes! I still can't believe that we just did that! Did you like it?"
Harry gives her hand a gentle squeeze, "I loved it! Do you have anything else planned for us today?"
Aurelia shakes her head rather quickly, "Nope! Not today! What do you want to do now?"
Kiss you.
"Whatever you want to do."
Aurelia hums as she thinks about the endless possibilities. After about a minute of thinking, she asks, "Does our hotel have a pool?"
Harry has to think about it for a minute, He thinks that he saw one as they walked through the lobby the night before, but he isn't one hundred percent positive because he, like Aurelia, was half asleep.
"I'm not one hundred percent positive, but I'm pretty sure that it does."
Aurelia grins, "Did you bring a bathing suit?"
Harry smiles triumphantly. He's proud of himself for exhausting the possibilities and deciding that it was a safe bet to bring a bathing suit. "I did."
"Let's go back and go swimming! I haven't been swimming for ages and it's incredibly hot!"
Harry likes the idea of cooling off in the water instead of sitting around in the hotel room and agrees immediately, "Sounds like a plan!"
They catch a cab back to the hotel and change into their bathing suits as quickly as possible because Aurelia is still on a high from crawling around inside of a pyramid in the middle of the desert.
It's still incredibly hot outside by the time they make it down to the pool and Aurelia is still in love with the idea of swimming. She can't hear any chatter that tells her that people are around and it's a little strange.
She isn't sure if there are people out and they're just sunbathing or something, or if the pool area is just deserted. Harry stops to put their towels down and she finds herself asking rather nervously, "There isn't really anybody out here, is there?"
If there was, she would have to be extremely careful because she tends to walk into people while at a public pool.
Harry looks around briefly, only to notice that the entire pool area is empty, save for the two of them and the extremely bored looking bartender who's standing behind the counter of his empty bar.
"Nope, just us. Weird, but I'm certainly not complaining."
Aurelia grins and leans into his side, "Awesome! Now we can play Marco Polo! However, I do have to warn you that I am very good at it."
Harry's smile mirrors hers, "I don't think I wanna play now if you're just going to school me in three seconds every time."
Aurelia pushes his chest lightly. She doesn't really know what she expected to feel, but she certainly doesn't expect to feel defined muscles. She does her best to ignore what she just felt and she pretends that she doesn't know that he has muscles at all.
"Don't be a baby!"
Harry chuckles at the comment, "I'll try my best. Do you want to walk in or jump in?"
Aurelia makes a face and he bites back his smile because she's absolutely adorable.
"Walking in is for losers! If you would be kind enough to walk me to where I can jump in and not kill myself, I'd like to jump."
Harry laughs and leads her to the deep end of the pool, "Alright, you won't die here. Unless you don't know how to swim, which I'm guessing you do so, no worries."
Aurelia is still holding his hand and there's a devious smile forming on her lips as her faded blue eyes looked at him without really looking, "You can swim, yes?"
Harry's perplexed because of the look that she's giving him. Clearly, there's something going on in her head, but he isn't quite sure where she's headed with whatever she's thinking and that has him slightly worried. "Yes, I can swim. Wh-"
Aurelia lets go of his hand and pushes him into the cool water before he can finish his next sentence and a laugh bubbles up from her lips before he resurfaces. It wasn't exactly a nice thing to do, but it was something funny that added an extra level of fun to their little excursion. She knew that Harry wouldn't be offended before she pushed him in and that he'd laugh with her when he surfaced, so it was a win-win situation.
Harry surfaces with an exaggerated intake of air and a great show of splashing around. Aurelia can actually hear him shake his head like a dog, his hair slaps his face at a pretty moderate volume, and she really wishes that she didn't know that he has long hair.
He laughs briefly and grins at her as he keeps himself afloat, "Well, are you going to join me after that little stunt, or what?"
Aurelia's stopped laughing by now and she wears her typical closed lip smile, "You're in my way, dummy."
Harry nods to himself and runs his tongue over his teeth, "Right. Probably should have moved before I said anything."
He swims out of the way and gives her the all clear. Aurelia jumps and hits the water with a smile on her lips. It isn't long until she surfaces beside him, her smile still intact as she pushes her hair out of her face.
"The water is nice. Did if feel nice when I pushed you in?"
Harry finds himself wanting to kiss her again. She's absolutely stunning, even in the pool with her hair sticking to her face. Harry bites his lower lip as he smiles, "Sort of. I mean, after I got over the initial betrayal it felt much nicer."
Aurelia giggles because she thinks that his use of the word 'betrayal' is funny and Harry makes another mental note about how her giggle sounds because it's a rare occurrence with her and he thinks that it's so, so beautiful.
"Well, at least you got over it fairly quickly. Oh God, I bet I really look like a fish now, don't I?"
Harry throws his head back as he laughs. She certainly doesn't look like a fish to him, but she is very funny.
"I don't think so, you're still the same pretty Aurelia from earlier. I just get a nice view of your eyes right now is all."
Aurelia bites back a smile of her own because he's just called her pretty without even flinching. "Do you tell all of your girl friends that they're pretty all the time, or is it just me?"
Harry smiles and he can feel his blood rushing to his cheeks as he answers, "Just you."
"I'm glad to know that I'm a pretty fish."
Aurelia laughs and swims a bit to the side before diving under and swimming away from him. She loves the feeling of gliding along the bottom of the pool, the cool water running over her skin easily, and the little bit of serenity that it brings her to know that she can feel weightless, all of her burdens momentarily shedding away as she immerses herself in the water.
When she resurfaces in the shallow end, Harry calls to her from the other side of the pool, "You're still not a fish, Aurelia!"
Aurelia shouts back, "I certainly feel like one! Are you ready to play, or are you still being a baby?"
Harry swims a bit closer to her, a cocky smile on his lips, "Game on, Aurelia! You can start, since you're the champion."
Aurelia smirks, "I'll give you ten seconds to move and then we'll start! Prepare to lose!"
She counts to ten slowly before she calls out 'Marco', to which Harry of course replies 'Polo!' and she already has a pretty good idea of where he's at.
Harry doesn't move very silently, which has Aurelia laughing every time she calls out 'Marco' to find him.
She has him cornered after only about a minute and Harry is debating whether or not he should dive or let her win. He decides to let her win.
Aurelia laughs as she reaches her hand out to 'tag' him and she shrieks when his hand catches her wrist and pulls her into his chest, "Polo."
Aurelia grins even though she stopped breathing for a moment and it feels like her heart is trying to hammer a hole in her chest. If there's any way to scare her, what Harry's just done is certainly it. She quickly recovers and responds to his actions, "Someone is a sore loser."
Harry laughs as he stares down at her and drops her wrist, "I mean, it's either that or it was just an excuse to get you closer to me, whichever you prefer."
Aurelia smiles in return and swims away from him. Her heart is still beating fast from the close contact and her mind is running wild with thoughts of Harry kissing her. In an attempt to clear her head, she tries to get back into game mode.
"Ten seconds on the clock and we'll see how well you do."
Somehow they end up playing Marco Polo for a couple of hours and it's dark by the time that Aurelia suggests that they should go back inside.
When they make it upstairs, Harry helps her find and turn on the shower so that it's at a comfortable temperature before he plops down on their bed and debates what they should order for dinner. Aurelia told him to surprise her again and he really doesn't know what to do this time.
She's been in the shower for about five minutes when he asks through the door, "Is pizza okay!?"
Aurelia laughs before calling back over the rushing water, "Pizza is always okay, Harry! Make sure it's pepperoni though!"
Harry does exactly that and she's pleasantly surprised when she walks out in her towel to the room smelling like fresh pizza.
"Please tell me that you didn't eat without me because, if you did, I might just have to beat you up."
Harry laughs and gets up to help her around the room so that she doesn't trip over anything on her way to the bed, "Not a single bite! It just got here a few minutes ago, so don't worry. It's still incredibly hot."
"Good! Same routine this time, and yes, I just want the big shirt and a pair of underwear for my pajamas."
Harry smiles as he searches through her suitcase for what she's requested. He really likes how comfortable she is with him. Most girls would have kept both their pants and their bra on, but Aurelia doesn't. It's one of those instances where she won't put his comfort above hers and he likes that about her.
Aurelia trusts Harry to look away while she slowly dresses with his help. He's really sweet and she's gotten to know him well enough to know for certain that he won't peek, even if he really wants to.
If she could see, she wouldn't say the same for herself when it came to looking at him because, well, she's nineteen and curious. Plus, from what she can tell, he probably has a cute little butt.
Once she's comfortably dressed, Harry sits on the bed with her and hands her a plate with two slices of pizza on it so that she won't have to ask for another piece for a little while.
"Where do you think we're going next? Like places out of Egypt wise."
Harry finishes chewing what's in his mouth before he answers, "Hmm, maybe Rome?"
Aurelia's jaw drops. There's no way he guessed that correctly on the first try. "How did you get that!?"
Harry grins and looks at her fondly as he remembers the look on her face when he placed her hand on the pyramid earlier in the day. "I saw how happy touching that pyramid made you and figured that it had to be somewhere with old architecture and a great history."
Aurelia shakes her head in disbelief. "It's unbelievable how you go from slightly stupid to paying attention, just like that."
Harry laughs and nudges her shoulder with his. He isn't offended by her comment because he knows that's how he often is and he's okay with that. Plus, the smile on her face is enough to make him push any offense to the back of his mind.
"Yeah, but I'm good company."
Aurelia fails to contain her smile at the familiar words, "That, you most definitely are."
"Will you be okay if I take a shower?"
Aurelia hums with her hands in her lap and her now empty plate in front of her. "Yes, I can read or go to bed, so I will be one hundred percent okay. Unless I have to pee, then we might have a problem."
Harry laughs and puts their trash in the little bin, "If you do, just let me know, okay?"
He has absolutely no problem with pausing his shower to help her in any way, even if it means that there's a high possibility that he'll slip on the tiles.
He doesn't have to ask that she's done with pizza for the night and he places the box on top of the fridge before he gets in the shower. Aurelia smiles and thanks him briefly before telling him to 'have a nice shower.'
Harry hasn't been in the shower for very long when Aurelia hears him start to sing. She's pleasantly surprised by how lovely his voice sounds and by the familiar song that he's singing. His voice sounds like honey and she finds herself closing her book, only to lay back in the bed and close her eyes. He could sing her to sleep and she wouldn't even mind.
"Sometimes you've got to bleed to know, that you're alive and have a soul. But it takes someone to come around to show you how. She's a tear in my heart, I'm alive. She's a tear in my heart, I'm on fire. She's the tear in my heart, take me higher than I've ever been."
Aurelia finds herself singing along with him as she lays back and pretends to stare at the ceiling with her eyes closed. "The songs on the radio are okay, but my taste in music is your face! And it takes a song to come around to show you how! She's a tear in my heart I'm alive. She's a tear in my heart, I'm on fire. She's a tear in my heart, take me higher than I've ever been."
Harry can hear her too and he smiles like an idiot as he sings louder, "You fell asleep in my car I drove the whole time, but that's okay I'll just avoid the holes so you'll sleep fine. I'm driving here I sit, cursing my government for not using my taxes to fill holes with more cement."
Aurelia smiles and sings louder with him. Their neighbors probably weren't too happy, but neither one of them really cares because they're having fun.
"You fell asleep in my car I drove the whole time, but that's okay I'll just avoid the holes so you sleep fine. I'm driving here I sit, cursing my government for not using my taxes to fill holes with more cement!"
