Chapter 9 Captured.. Again
I woke up in a room. My wrists were tied together by a thick plant that was connected to the roof. It obviously wasn't budging. My toga had been ripped and my legs were also tied to the ground. I realized this could be great training. I flared up my hair and it set the plants on fire. They burned to ash and my hands were free. I burnt the ones tied around my legs and got up. I heard footsteps. "Who's there?" I demanded. "You should know.. Atlas.. Adevas" Nobody knew my last name but my parents and... it was her.. She stepped out. "Eviria..! I should of known!" I said. She cackled. "This is the end of you Atlas.. you never should of come back.." "You tried to bring me back so uhh naw hunny.." I retorted. "HOW DARE YOU DISRESPECT YOUR RULER, YOUR MASTER, YOUR... GODDESS!!" She yelled. "You will never be my ruler, master, or goddess. In this life or the next.." I said rising on a cloud. "Nor will I.. I belong to no being and no being belongs to me." She laughed. "You think you're better.. since you have all the powers.. yeah well let me tell ya something girl.. You're not the only one anymore." "Yeah me and my brother." I said. "Brother? You've never had a brother. I knew every citizen." It was true. She knew every single citizen.. this meant.. Avaro was a fraud? "What I meant was we figured out a way to get everyone as equal as you." "What?" She floated the same level as me and laughed. And now I know your weakness.... love.." She pulled out that boy. "What!? Put him down!" He was unconscious but just when I talked he woke up. I pulled down the bandana that covered his mouth. "Atlas! It's you! Run she'll kill you!" He yelled. "Silence you weak troll." she yelled at him. "We all know that aliens can burn." she continued. "Well you can save him with the price of your life or let him burn to death." A hatch opened with flames and she dropped him. I decided to save him. He was as innocent as can be. I dived down and threw him up as the fire cage trapped me inside.
(Boy's POV) She was sucked under the gray metal hatch. I looked up to see Eviria cackling. "I finally got rid of that brat." she said. I stood up. "No you haven't.. She's much stronger than you and she will never be beaten by an evil witch like you!" I yelled back. "Honestly I don't care what little trolls like you say. You can check her bones tomorrow." She said and trotted off. Her long black shimmering hair looked like death and her long black dress treaded behind her stick-skinny waist as she trotted away happily to her lair. I didn't believe Atlas would die. And I wouldn't let her. I sat there and waited for her to emerge. Spirit or human I didn't care.
