We had another fight that night. It actually got physical. We grabbed each other and wrestled. It wasn't play fighting. It was real fighting. He actually hit me and I hit him back. But we didn't forgive each other. At night I would fly out and just sleep in a nest as a bird rather than sleep with him. I actually made friends. I kept their chicks safe while they got food. I few time I didn't even come home. I left my phone so I wouldn't be tempted to answer. I had never been in love, and now I knew it was just a sick trick to hurt you. I wouldn't eat. I thought maybe I'd be able to see my parents soon. Maybe in heaven I'd meet someone who really cared for me. But then I remembered. The girls. I sprinted home as fast as I could. But after no sleep or food I was weak. I didn't get very far till I stumbled. I had gotten skinnier. I crawled the rest of the way. I had come in to the house. I looked for them. I found them comforting Dylan. He was laying with his face in his pillow. "Girls.." I said "Come here." They turned. They sprinted towards me, hugging me tight. I felt their tears drip down my bare legs. "We missed you so much mommy! We thought you were never coming back." I smiled at them and bent down. I wiped off their tears. "You know I would never leave you two." I hugged then again. Dylan sat up. "So now you decided to come back." he said. I glared at him. "I only came back for them." I said defensively. I picked them up. "If you cared you'd go out and look for me, I actually loved you... but now I know love is a cruel trick." I said. I dashed out the door with the two girls in my arms. Tears floated past me as I kept running. "Where are we going mommy?" Asked Aticlea. "Away from your daddy." I had gotten to the door when they started to flicker. "What!?" The girls flickered till Dylan came down. "Atlas if you're gonna leave.. then we're through." The girls in my arms started flickering even more. "Noo!!!" I yelled thing to hold onto them. "Well miss... you... mo..m..myy.." They said at the same time. Then they vanished into air. I kept grabbing the air they were in when I realized it was no use. I fell to the floor, literally bawling my eyes out. (Except my eyes didn't fall out) I looked up to find Dylan's eyes watery too.
