Satsuki is from an abusive home. It hadn't always been that way, she used to have a happy family.

Her dad was her dad, and her mom was her mom. They were a normal, and respected family.

Until, it was found out that her father had been stealing merchandise from where he worked. He worked at a pharmaceutical company, and he traveled all over Japan to deliver the products.

Only, he had been keeping some to himself. And when his boss found out, he went to prison after they pressed charges and he got sent away. Leaving her, and her pregnant mother alone.

After her dad came back, he was different. He wasn't her dad anymore.

He had started drinking, and her mother had to take care of Satsuki, herself and her little sister Yuri.

Her dad had promised he would clean up his act and take care of his family, but whenever he got off of it, got a job and they thought things were normal, he would start drinking again and they'd be back to square one.

After a few months of this happening, her mom couldn't take the craziness anymore so she took Yuri and left.

Only, Satsuki was left with her dad while her mom and sister moved to another town.

While her dad drank, she had to take care of them. So she worked at a drive in theater.

It payed the bills, plus it gave her someplace to go that wasn't 'home.'

Since he was busy drinking, some of his drinking buddies would be inappropriate with her while they were there. And drunk at that.

And so once she was thirteen, she moved out of her house and she lived at the drive in where there was a small tiny house type thing where she was free to live in exchange for work. She already worked there, so she made a deal with her boss.
