Mariella had just left practice when Ben came up to her.

" I'm going to go check Mal and Evie, would you like to come?" Ben asked.

" Ya, sure," Mariella nodded. 

" See you later Mar," Harlem said as they all went their separate ways.

" So how are you liking the new kids?" Ben asked as they walked towards where the dorms are held.

" They are pretty cool," Mariella answered. " From what I have been told and seen, Harlem and Carlos are getting along, Drystan sits with Evie in chem, and I have given Jay a card for the band."

" I hope this all goes well," Ben hopped. " I really want our peoples to get along."

" Chaos is always suggestable," Mariella giggled. " Any word on Mal?"

" Really good at art," Bem said as his face lit up. " I tried to suggest her to take up an art class since she did some art on lockers."

" Where's the fun in that?" Mariella asked. Ben laughed, soon they reached the door and Ben knocked. Minutes later Mal opened the door, all four of them was in there, Mariella saw that Jay had a tourney jersey with a number eight in the corner.

" You made the team!" Mariella gasped.

" Check it out," Jay laughed as he turned around.

" Looking quite sporty," Mariella laughed.

" I didn't see you guys today," Ben told Mal. " I was just wondering if you had any questions or anything...That...You needed..." Ben seemed really nervous around this girl, in a good way.

" Not that I know of," Mal answered, she looked back at the others, they all nodded in agreement.

" Okay, alright," Ben said as he began to walk away. " If you need anything, just, uh..."

" Oh, wait!" Mal called out. Ben walked back to the door. " Um, is it true that we all get to go to your coronation?

" Yeah, the whole school goes," Ben confirmed.

" Wow," Mal breathed. " That is beyond exciting. Do you think that it's a possibility that the four of us could stand in the front row next to the Fairy Godmother, just so we could soak up all that goodness?"

 " I wish you could," Ben answered. " Up front, it's just me, my folks, and my girlfriend."

" And your girlfriend?" Mal asked.

" Okay. Thanks, bye," Mal said as she closed the door.

" Oh, no, but there's plenty-" Ben rambled, but got cut off by the door.

" You tried," Mariella giggled. " I think you like her."

" I'm with Audrey," Ben reminded her.

" And this girl tends to make you giddier then Audrey," Mariella pointed out.

The next day came and Mariella was currently down on the patio part of the school with her friends.

" So, instead of spending time with our parents, Jane really wants us to perform some songs on parent day," Teagan informed.

" Can we deny it?" Mariella requested. " I would like to spend time with my totally mad dad?"

" At least two songs?" Harlem asked.

" Fine," Mariella gave in. " So anything improving with Jane?"

" Not the slightest," Teagan groaned. " I have all the confidence I need till I get to her."

" Just gotta sing it," Drystan suggested.

" Oh, hello," they heard Jay greet, a bunch girl's laughed and went over to him, he was on the floor above. Mariella rolled her eyes. " The name's Jay." The girls laughed more, they were loving their new hair from Mal. " You all going to Tourney game tonight?" 

" Yeah," the girls said.

" Keep a look out for number eight, all right?" Jay requested. " Scoring the winning goal."

" Okay," a girl giggled. " I do hope Auradon Rock performs after the game." 

" Curse my soul," Teagan groaned. " I forgot about tonight."

" Do we have any songs ready?" Drystan asked.

" We can come up with some before the Tourney game," Mariella said. " It'll be complete bonkers."

" Your kind of style," Harlem smirked at her.

" Mariella!" a voice called, they looked to Jay looking over at her. " Are you guys performing tonight?"

" It'll be right down the rabbit hole," Mariella answered, all the girl's cheered happily.

" We could do Tomorrow Never Dies," Harlem suggested as Teagan took out a little planner and wrote it down.

" Any more ideas?" Teagan asked.

" I can't be the only one with song suggestions," Harlem said. " You three suggest something."

 " Royals," Drystan suggested.

" This is how we do," Mariella suggested.

" Peter Pan," Teagan suggested.

" Let's keep going," Harlem said.

Hours later they were now all at they were all at the Tourney field for the game. The cheerleaders were down cheering, Mariella was up in the stands cheering alongside everyone else.

" This is a nail biter folks," the announcer announced. " There's 47 seconds left on the clock. We're all tied up. The Sherwood Falcons, two. The Fighting Knights, two. What a game between Auradon's fiercest rivals. The teams get into their huddles and take up positions along the kill zone." Mariella sees Chad run out on to the field. " The Dragoneers have been laying down a withering hail of fire." Moments later Jay and Carlos go on the field, the Auradon kids start cheering much louder. " He's bringing hot-headed Jay from the Isle of the Lost and that little guy Carlos can barely hold a shield. " As they break from their huddle, this is gonna be a big moment here. And the tipoff is ready." A whistle is blown as everyone is in positions. " Here we go." Mariella watched intensely as the game was narrated. " Long pass goes to Jay. Jay dishes off to Prince Ben." A guy fell over Carlos. " Nice little block by Carlos. He does a little dancing jig in his opponent's face."

" That was cute," Harlem grunted, Mariella looks at him wiggling her eyes brows, he brushes it off.

" And now Jay gets the ball back. Here comes Jay!" A thing shot out of the cannon, and Jay dodged it. " Jay, hurdling manuever at mid-field."

 " I'm open!" Ben shouted.

" Jay makes a nice pass to Prince Ben through the kill zone."

" JAY!" Ben shouted as Chad knocked someone down.

" BIG BLOCK BY CHAD! Prince Ben moves over wide, gives it back to Jay. He's in the clear! Shot! Oh, what a save by Philip the Falcon's goalkeeper!" Everyone moved around, hustling everywhere. " 23 seconds left. You could cut the tension with a sword. The long ball is played into Jay. Jay, great jump, great leap. And a great move by Jay. BIG BLOCK FROM CHAD. Jay dishes off to Prince Ben. And then Carlos with a big block goes down. Jay through the kill zone picks up Carlos. OH, he's being hammered by dragon fire. Still, going on. Jay, hurdling maneuver at mid-field. He's in the clear. The ball goes back to Jay.

" Hey, Jay!" Carlos shouted.

" Carlos?" Jay asked. Jay through the ball, Carlos hit it up.

" Go up!" Carlos insisted as he got down.

" Ben!" Jay shouted as he got the ball, and passed it to Ben, who hit the ball.

 " He passes it to prince Ben! HE SCORES!" Everyone started cheering. " PRINCE BEN HAS WON IT! What an unselfish play by Jay! What a team! Incredible! And it's the new guys Jay and Carlos, who set up the prince for the win here. WHAT A VICTORY! WHAT AN ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL END TO ONE OF THE BEST GAMES EVER. HERE THEY COME FOLKS WINNER OF THE FIRST TOURN--" Ben then took the mic and everyone looked at him and went silent.

" Excuse Me. EXCUSE ME. CAN I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE?" Ben requested. He stepped up on the thing in the middle. " THERE'S SOMETHING I"D LIKE TO SAY."

" This is going to spiral down a rabbit hole," Mariella said as her eyes lit up.

" Completely pixie dust crazy," Teagan agreed.

" Give me an M!" Ben shouted as he formed an M.

" M!" Everyone mimicked.

"MAL!" everyone shouted as Audrey looked heartbroken.

" Come on, I can't hear you!"

" MAL!" they are repeated.

" UNO, DOS, TRES, QUATRO!" Doug shouted out.

" I love it when he speaks Spanish," Lonnie gushed as she looks at Doug. Music started playing, soon Ben started to sing, and the players and cheerleaders all danced along.

" Hey! " Chad cheered. Mariella and Teagen looked at each other and rolled their eyes.

" And I'm going to the coronation with him. So I don't need your pity date." Audrey informed before kissing Chad. Ben then snatched the mic back and looked at Mal.

" Mal! Will you go to coronation with me?" Ben asked loudly.

" YES!" Mal said into the mic.

" She said yes!" Ben cheered happily.

" Let's go, Ben!" Jay said coming up. " The whole team is waiting for you!" They then left, they all looked at each other. 

" How about we changed Peter Pan to Lie to Me?" Drystan asked. " For Evie's sake."

" Done," Harlem agreed.

" Yay!" they heard cheering, they looked over to see Jay holding the trophy and being lifted up by the team.

" Jay, the most valuable player!" the announcer said. " How do you like that?" He pointed at Mal and Evie, they pointed back.

" Go, Jay!" Mariella cheered, he looked over at her and smiled.

" Yay!" Jay cheered more.

Hours later they were back at the tourney field for the concert. Since it was a tourney game, some of the players gave them jerseys to wear. Harlem received Carlos's number, Drystan received Miguel's number, Teagan received Emir's number and Mariella received Hay's number.

" Ready to go bonkers?" Mariella asked the crowd.

" YEAH!" Everyone cheered.

" How are you feeling about tomorrow?" Teagan asked Harlem.

" 101 sure does look good on Harlem," Carlos said. " He's so sweaty..and pretty."

" I think you're crushing," Evie teased with a smiled.

" No," Carlos quickly denied as his ears turned pink.

" How do you do it?" Jane asked.

" Come up on stage and we'll show you?" Teagan answered. Jane turned bright pink and with the help of the crowd, Jane was now on stage, she sat in a chair.

" She could do better than that prissy prince," Jay growled as he clinched his fists.
