I sighed out loudly , petting phantom with one hand and holding a cup with the other. Her soft black fur felt smooth underneath my fingers.

I slept over what Mr Jalal had said and realised that I had only 3 days to decide my future. How am I  supposed to make a decision , that was this huge ,in a matter of few days.
I don't even know this Darren guy. how in the world am I going to marry him? That is if I decide to.

This thing is making me go mad. I let out a silent scream and looked up . What could I possibly do?
I looked around the kitchen , planning on cleaning it up cause it needed some real cleaning , when my eyes fell on the documents that he gave me yesterday.
I slowly averted my eyes. Maybe if I avoid them I could avoid this situation in whole?.

Who was I kidding this situation is real and not going anywhere. I'm not a child anymore . I'm a responsible adult that needs to care  of her problems . With this new found courage I looked at the papers again only to quickly slump back down.

Those papers seemed to haunt me and my existence,but I had to read those.

I leaned over the table, practically laying on top of it and dragged the papers towards me.
I decided to open her will first and read over the document . The rest were papers stating the rules and regulations . The last one was a hand written letter by her that probably held the truth .

I slowly tore open the seal and pulled out the letter unfolding it.

Dear Hayley,

Its aunty welma. You will most probably be reading this after I've passed away.
My dear child I am leaving all of my house and wealth in your hands , for you are the only trustworthy child of mine.
I hope Jalal told you about the only condition I have .You might be thinking why I must have put up such a condition.
My love before your mother passed away she asked me for 2 favours. One was to give you the best of education and make you into a fine lady and the other was to get you married to someone nice and worthy.
I know that you are capable of finding someone that you love and get married ,but then my promise would be left unfulfilled.
I have known Darren all his life . He is a sweet child , a little naughty but not too bad. He will give you the best in life.
I hope that you give him a chance and get married to him. Please don't let me down.
I love you Hayley . Please take good care of yourself and do your best.

I crumbled the paper in my hand . I know what she is doing . She is trying to guilt trip me. She was so good at it. Whether it be making a sad face when I refused to eat or sneaked out without her permission,her one look would make me feel bad for even killing an ant all those years ago.
I'm so close to giving up. I'm not sure what to do anymore . I shook the envelope in my hand in anger and I saw something fall out of it.

I bent down to pick the rectangular piece of paper up.'this is him -Darren Skinner' the opposite of the paper read. I quickly turned the paper to see a picture of a quite handsome boy with a Hawaiian shirt and a huge hat on his head.
He was so cute but I was so angry at him. If it wasn't for him I wouldn't have to marry him. But the again aunt would find me another one to marry.

Phantom purred underneath my hand , desperate for attention. "Oh phantom! I don't don't know what to do" I spoke in an exaggerated manner and picked her up ,walking to the couch and plopping down.

"There is no way out there , is there?"
