Veteran was playing a game on his tablet while sitting in the living room. He was playing Talking Tom. He really liked that game. "Veteran, come here! We need to go somewhere!" His dad suddenly called from the kitchen. Veteran stood up and laid his tablet down.  "Where?" He asked, running up to his dad. His mom was at work today, so only he and his dad were at home. "Its a surprise." His dad replied. "Ohh that sounds fun!" Veteran said happily. He followed his dad to the car. Little did he know, the surprise was actually the hospital, for flu shots, but his dad hid it since Veteran is hella scared of needles. 

Veteran's dad parked the car at the hospital. Veteran looked out of the window. "Wha-" he started, feeling his excitement (and soul) leave his body. "Why are we here-?" He felt himself getting scared. "I'm sorry son, be we need to get your flu shots..." his dad spoke, really disappointed to see his son scared, but also knowing he had to go. "I don't wanna go!" Veteran exclaimed. His dad got out of the car and opened the door to let Veteran out. "I don't wanna gooooo!" Veteran said, now crying. "We need to..." his dad said, unbuckling him and picking him up. "Noooo!" Veteran cried. His dad carried him to the hospital. Veteran tried to squirm out of his dad's grip. Some kids watched them, knowing Veteran was probably doomed. 

In the waiting room, Veteran was sitting on his dad's lap, crying softly. His dad tried to comfort him. Then, a doctor came in. "Veteran, it's your turn." He said. Veteran's dad stood up and carried Veteran too. Veteran tried to squirm out again, but he didn't succeed. His dad followed the doctor to the doctor's office.

After the checkup, Veteran's dad took his son on his lap. Veteran tried to get away. "Nooo! I don't want this!" Veteran cried. His dad had to keep him still. The doctor pulled Veteran's sleeve up. "I DON'T WANT A SHOOOOTTTTTTT!" Veteran screamed. He tried to move, but his dad held him still. The doctor quickly gave the shot. Veteran let out a loud ass screech. The doctor put a bandage on Veteran's arm. His dad took him in a comforting hug while Veteran cried. The doctor walked out and came in with a box of lollipops. Veteran saw it. He grabbed a yellow lollipop. His dad then walked out, carrying a sad Veteran (someone please hug this bean)

In the car, Veteran calmed down a bit. He sucked on his lollipop, softly sniffing and sobbing to himself.

When they were home, Veteran went to play Talking Tom again. He felt more comfortable now and now was trying to forget this chaotic moment.
