This is requested by@RandomTorcher the two are only in the same story because this reader requested that. Also they're like 14 years old because I want some teenagers/preteens to get some shots XD 

Engineer sat in the car. He was going to the hospital with his mom for his flu shots. He was a little nervous. 

Meanwhile, Gnome was in the car with her mom for the same thing. She was also nervous. Well, she was more scared than nervous actually, since she had a little phobia of needles. It was a big coincidence that Gnome and Engineer would get a shot at the same day and time. They didn't know that yet though. 

At the hospital, the two cars parked next to each other and that was when the two saw each other through the window. They waved happily. Their moms saw each other too and waved too. The four of them went out of their cars. "What a coincidence!" Gnome's mom exclaimed. "Indeed! Engineer is getting his shots. And what about Gnome?" Engineer's mom replied. "Same here!" Engineer and Gnome were hugging each other. "OMG Engi I'm so nervous!" Gnome exclaimed. "Me too, but I'm sure it's gonna be ok." Engineer reassured his girlfriend. "Come on, we need to go inside now." Gnome's mom said. The kids followed their moms inside. 

After the checkup, they went to the waiting room. "I hope we can go in there at the same time because if not I'm not gonna do it." Gnome said. Engineer wrapped and arm around her. "Don't worry." He told her. 

"Gnome, it's your turn." A doctor said, coming in. Gnome whimpered. "Uhh can I go with her and get my shot right after her? I don't want her to be scared and I wanna comfort her." Engineer said. "I don't see why not." The doctor replied. She smiled. Engineer and Gnome stood up and their moms did too. They followed the doctor to the office.

After a checkup for Gnome and Engineer, it was Gnome's turn for the shot. She sat down on the bed and laughed. It wasn't a happy laugh though. It was a nervous one. "Hahaha... hahah... hah... I'm dead." She said. Engineer looked at her from his chair. The doctor went to clean Gnome's arm. Gnome saw the needle and shrieked. "Oh no no no I don't wanna do this!" She pulled her arm away. She was on the verge of tears and breathing heavily, trying not to cry. Engineer stood up. He walked up to Gnome and took Gnome's hands in his. "Babe, calm down." He said calmly yet a little sternly. Gnome's mom stood up. "Shall I comfort he-" "No let me do this. Don't worry." Engineer interrupted Gnome's mom. Gnome's mom trusted Engineer and let him do. She sat down again. "I don't wanna do this Engi!" Gnome exclaimed. Little tears streamed down her face. She was looking at her arm and shaking. She also tried to pull her arm away. "Babe, look at me." Engineer said. Gnome looked. "It's gonna be ok. Just focus on me. Breathe in and out slowly. I'm here for you." Engineer's soothing voice calmed Gnome down a bit. She breathed in and out slowly and focused on Engineer. She looked him in the eyes deeply. "Ow!" She suddenly said because she felt a sting. She looked over and saw the doctor just remove the shot. The doctor put a bandage on it. "See? That wasn't that bad, was it?" Engineer said. Gnome sniffled. She then nodded, hugged Engineer and kissed his cheek. "Thank you for calming me down babe. I would've screamed the hell outta everyone if you didn't calm me down. Hehe..." Engineer chuckled. "It's all ok now." He said. Gnome let go of Engineer and Engineer sat down. He just looked at Gnome and only flinched a little when the doctor gave him the shot. She also put a bandage on his arm. "Do you guys want a lollipop?" The doctor asked. Gnome and Engineer nodded. The doctor went out and came back with a box of lollipops. Engineer chose a purple one and Gnome a green one. They then exited the hospital. 

When they were on the parking lot, the moms started talking about stuff, then turned to the kids. "It was so good how you calmed Gnome down." Gnome's mom said to Engineer. "Yeah, you're good husband material." Engineer's mom said, making Engineer and Gnome blush. "Well, say goodbye now." Engineer's mom said. Gnome amd Engineer hugged and kissed goodbye. They then went into their own cars with their own moms and drove to their homes.
