Esme pov

I woke slowly with Augustus and I entangled together.  I craned my neck to the clock to see we've probably been sleeping two hours. It was around seven. I leaned over and kissed Auggie gently before detaching from him. I chuckled as he groaned and turned on his stomach with his head stuffed in the pillows.

I glanced down at my boyshorts that replaced my soiled underwear and blushed. I was grateful, however because these were much comfier.

It wasn't long before I was done cooking French toast, even if it wasn't breakfast. There can never be too much breakfast.

Just as I acquired a stack of food a knock at the door made me jump. I looked down at the shirt that reached my thighs and back at the rather urgent pounding at the wood.

I opened it quickly and peaked out to see my neighbor Eddie.

"Oh, hey Ed." I shifted uncomfortably as his eyes were trained on my exposed legs.

I discreetly tried to pull the shirt down more while wrapping my other arm around my waist tightly. He finally met my gaze as he started talking. Eddie was a dorky kind of boy. He was our age and went to the private school in the town over. His hair was floppy and light brown, it suited his features and brought out his brown eyes. He was pretty, sure, but it was nothing compared to Augustus's handsomeness. And Eddie was tall yet scrawny looking, I might even have a chance in a tussle against him.

"I-I've been worried sick for the last few hours. I saw you get carried in by this guy I've never seen before and have been pacing around! I didn't know if I should come over or... or-"

I squinted my eyes in confusion... what?

"If I was in my car and we pulled up to my house, how would I be in trouble?" I was genuinely confused and wanted to figure out his thought process. My tone was quiet and unsure as he stepped closer to the threshold.

"I just saw this guy I've never seen around here and was concerned for your safety. You look shaken up." He peered into my house while trying to slide his way in.

"How would you know the people in my life?"

"W-Well-"

"Hey baby doll," I gasped as Auggie's ginormous body pressed against my back and I realized he was clad in only boxers.

I craned my neck up only to receive a light kiss before he glared at Eddie. I held on my giggles when he reached around me and yanked my shirt to cover my front more.

"Can I help you?"

Augustus sounded cold and his deep voice struck fear in whoever wasn't me at the moment. Eddie took a couple more steps back before taking a deep breath.

"I was wondering who took Esme home. I like to check up on her and I saw a strange man-"

"Her boyfriend. I'm her boyfriend, kid. I'll be around much more so you don't have to worry about anymore strangers." His tone was final and even I squirmed at the anger radiating off of him. His beautiful face was blank however.

"You don't need to check up on her anymore. Bye." The door was shut abruptly and I squealed when a hand spanked down on me.

A hand gripped my jaw sternly, "I'm the only one who can see you like this. Show anyone else this little body of yours and there will be punishments, pretty girl."

I nodded quickly and pushed up to kiss him. He made a noise of surprise before picking me up.

I pecked his lips repeatedly while muttering how I was sorry. I felt us moving towards the kitchen and glanced at our food.

I checked to make sure it was still hot and turned to Auggie with a smile.

"Dinner," I gestured shyly and accepted yet another kiss.

"Thank you, Esme." I watched him take a helping and got my own while sitting next to him. I smiled when he handed me his phone, I discovered a game Kace plays was very entertaining.

The night was spent talking about nothing and everything in the studio until we fell asleep.
