One of my favorite tropes is the Dynamic Duo. It doesn't necessarily have to be a romantic relationship that has been glamourized by popoular media for decades.

It can be an interaction between best friends, a parent and child having an honest conversation, a secret between accomplices, a die-hard competition between rivals, or a glance between two strangers who have a common goal on getting rid of a threat affecting their daily lives.
