Error had always been fine with people leaving him alone. It left him with plenty of time to sleep, knit, or go to outertale and stargaze. Hell, he could even visit Nighty and his gang!
But this abomination didn't seem to get it.
Sanzy Fresh, the parasitic creature that feeds on the soul of Sanses to stay alive. He was terrifying. He scared even the strongest members of the multiverse, asides from Ink. As of right now, said abomination was requesting to play MarioKart.
Error groaned, sitting up from the best of blue strings he created to glare at Fresh. "Ugh, what do you want again?!" Error muttered, trying to make eye contact with him. Fresh shot him an unimpressed look, Glasses changing from [YO]-[LO] to [BR]-[UH].
"I asked you if you wanted to play some MarioKart, Broski!" Fresh repeated, adjusting his glasses as he somehow pulled a Nintendo switch out of his pocket(????). "It's totes unrad how you never hang with me, dawg." He whined.
Error rolled his eyes, growling as he facepalmed. "And why would I play a game with an abomination like you?" Fresh looked almost hurt- wait. He couldn't feel any emotions, let alone sadness.
The 90's trash looked in thought for a moment, before snapping his fingers. "If ya win, I'll skedaddle on out of your antivoid for a whole month, home skillet. No cool bro all up in your personal space."
Error's eyelights shimmered and his teeth stretched into a grin. "Really?!" He sounded almost like a little kid getting told they would be getting the worlds supply of candy. Fresh chuckled, his glasses changing again, this time displaying [CU]-[TE] but quickly changing back to it's default.
"Yep! Buuut, if I win, there's a catch glitchy bro." Fresh smiled, grin turning a bit more ominous as he leaned in a bit. Error began to sweat from how close he was. "If I win, you gotta give me..."
Error did NOT like what he was thinking of.
"Nope! No, no, you cannot have my soul. Even if I wanted to."
"...broski i was just going to ask you for a smooch, not something as sick-nasty as that." Fresh pulled down his glasses and he rolled his eyes, deadpan expression.
Error.exe has stopped responding.
"Whoops." Fresh sighed, picking him up bridal style and carrying him to the beanbags and TV. Fresh never really understood why he had one, but at least he wouldn't have to go and steal one for them to play.
He let his sight drift down to the destroyer cradled in his arms. It was almost like he was asleep, and he wouldn't wake up as long as Fresh kept in contact with him.
Surely one kiss wouldn't hurt. He wouldn't even know. Fresh leaned down and brought his teeth to the destroyers, closing his eyes and feeling the warm bursts of raw emotion flood through his being. Love. He loved Error. Why? Why him? He didn't know. At first he wanted to get rid of these feelings, but every day he's realized he just craved more of it whenever he was near Error.
He pulled away, the warm feeling cooling down as he regained his composure. He knew Error probably wouldn't feel the same. Until then, he'd just gain his trust with games.
And... he summoned a box of Error's favorite chocolate bars from UnderFell. What? He would never be too careful. (Fresh no please don't break the fourth waallll)
He set Glitchy down on a beanbag as he set up the game. Dial-up noises came from Error's body as he was beginning to reboot. Soon the game was up and Fresh had to wait until his system was up again.
"Ugh. Where am I? What?" Error groaned, looking around before his eyes settled back onto the parasitic Sans. He made a glitchy squeal, jumping away. "What the funk are you doing here?!"
"Chill with da unholy language, homie. We're playing MarioKart, remember?" Fresh sighed. As in love as he was, it could be very difficult to be patient with the destroyer of worlds. "If you win I leave. We'll do as many rounds as ya like, till ya win or give up, dawg." Fresh said, taking his controller and holding one out to Error.
Error stared at the blue joy con. What even was that? He thought they were playing a board game! Much to his embarrassment, he barely had any experience with video games and television besides undernovela.
"Well?" Fresh was grinning at him; golden tooth shimmering and eyes half kissed under his glasses as he chuckled at Error's stare. The glitch huffed and snatched the controller, flopping back into the beanbag next to the parasite's.
Fresh started up the TV, and Error watched in fascination as a theme song started playing, blaring loudly. They sat down and began to choose their characters and stages.
Fresh chose this strange colorful creature holding what looked like a water gun filled with paint on a strange, multicolored car. Error raised an eyebrow, and the parasite shrugged.
"C'mon, dawg, just pick a character already." Fresh mumbled, glancing at Error, who was struggling to find the correct way to hold the controller. Fresh facepalmed.
This was going to take a long while.
*Time skip brought to you by TK! uwu*
"God funking damnit!" Error screeched as hell once again, drove himself off the edge of the map. Fresh laughed as he easily cruised by in first place, leaving banana peels behind. "What the heck! Is this rigged???" Error looked on his controller to see anything that could be keeping him from success.
"Nope. The only thing stopping ya is your unrad Kart skills, my Glitchy bro-tato chip." Fresh shrugged, watching Error scream again as his character slipped on one of the bananas. Fresh finally made it back to the finish line, crossing and getting first place. He grinned smugly as he knudged Error and pointed towards his cheek.
"No." The Destroyer crosses his arms and glared at fresh, cheeks lighting up with a vibrant yellow color. "I'm not gonna kiss you."
"We made a deal, brah," Fresh said, slowly approaching "If ya don't smooch me, I guess I'll have'ta do it myself." He slowly put his hands on Error's arms before leaning in and kissing him on the forehead. Error froze up, practically glowing, and the sound of static grew.
The destroyer covered his face, which was pretty much completely yellow and glitching uncontrollably, before crashing, hard. A long, loud, high pitched beep escaped his body.
Rebooting... -100% complete... estimated time... 1hr 25min
Fresh smiled fondly. He loved his destroyer, and he was determined to get him to show it back.
No matter how long it takes.
