"Look out!" shouted Chat Noir. Ladybug dodged as an arrow came near her. Another akumatized victim had appeared. The akuma had appeared around the Eiffel tower at around nine o'clock. 

The figure wore a green cloak with leopard print pants and a white t-shirt. The figure also had a mask shaped like a moth. 

"I am Monster Hunter," he shouted, "Those who help strange creatures will be trampled in my way!" Monster Hunter kept babbling on as Chat whispered to Ladybug. 

"Um, how did this akuma come?" he asked. 

"A ten year old boy watched a horror movie and Hawk Moth took advantage of the kid's fear." Ladybug stated. 

"So what's the plan, Milady?" Chat questioned. 

"Find his akuma."

"I'm guessing it will be in his cloak?" 

"I doubt that."  Ladybug charged at Monster Hunter. She swung her yo-yo lassoing the hunter. Chat rushed over and grabbed the cloak off the boy. He tore at it with his claws. No akuma came out. The boy giggled. 

"Ya shouldn't have done that." He cackled. A howl could be heard close by. 

"What scares a cat more is a dog, right?" laughed Hunter. Chat ran as a wolf chased after him like prey. 

"You're next Ladybug." he grinned. It was Ladybug's turn to laugh. 

"I'm not so sure about that," Ladybug giggled, "I'm the one who has you tied up." The boy smiled. 

"You were saying?" a snake man like creature grabbed Ladybug from behind. Monster Hunter freed himself and chuckled as he watched Ladybug struggle in the monster's grasp. 

"What do you think, Ladybug?" he asked, "My Snake man is quite magnificent, right?" Ladybug kicked her feet back and forth as the Snake man held her in a bare hug. 

"Now, I hate things that thrash around, so stay still." Monster Hunter ordered. He grabbed a dagger off of his belt. He could hear Hawk Moth shouting to get her miraculous. Ladybug moved her head from side to side rapidly. The boy held her head still by grabbing her neck. 

The blade came closer and closer to her ear. She groaned with annoyance. This wasn't supposed to happen. A piercing pain went through Ladybug's body. She felt her first earring being ripped out of her ear. She shrieked in pain. 

"Ladybug!" shouted Chat. He wasn't that far from her. He had one hand reaching out for her but to no avail as the wolf held Chat down, pinning him to the floor. 

"NOOOO!"

Marinette sat up immediately in her bed. Her heart was racing. She instantly checked if her earrings were still there. They were and so was Tikki giving Marinette a worried look as she sat by her. 

"Marinette, Are you okay?" she asked. Marinette was still breathing in deeply. She quickly nodded. 

"It was just a bad dream." She answered. Marinette grabbed her phone to check the time. Her eyes nearly popped out of her head when she realized she already missed half of school. She jumped out of her bed, but wasn't cautious and fell face first on the floor. 

"Ow." moaned Marinette. Tikki rolled her eyes and floated towards Marinette. 

"No more patrolling til five with Chat Noir, Marinette." Tikki smiled, "It seems to mess up your normal life." 

"Tell me about it." groaned Marinette. She picked herself off the floor of her room. 

"I can never seem to balance that out." 

"Well not yet." reassured Tikki. "Besides, shouldn't you be getting to school?" Marinette dramatically waved her hands in the air as she spoke. 

"What's the point Tikki? At this rate it isn't even worth going to." 

"Not even to see Adrien?" giggled Tikki. Marinette's eyes went wide. How could she have forgotten him? Well, she had been hanging with Chat Noir more and more recently. Now Marinette was motivated to go to school. She rushed into her closet, hurriedly put on her usual pink pants, white shirt, and jacket and dashed down the stairs. 

Marinette almost fell on her face as she was crossing the street. She dashed towards the entrance of the school. Thankfully, they never closed those doors. As she rushed towards the stairs to her class, she collided with someone, falling to the ground. 

"Sorry!" Marinette apologized sheepishly. The girl with orange eyes, in front of her gave her  a smile. 

"No it's fine." she chuckled. Marinette rushed right past and dashed into Ms. Bustier's class. Of course Marinette's seat next to Ayla wasn't taken. Marinette quietly sneaked to her desk and sat down. She must have come just in time for the beginning of class, because they were about to start. 

"Girl, where were you?" whispered Ayla. Marinette paused for a moment, trying to come up with an excuse. She couldn't tell Ayla she was hanging with Chat Noir. 

"I was-uh..I overslept because I stayed up too late doing homework." Marinette explained. Ayla shook her head. 

Ms. Bustier cleared her throat, getting the class's attention, "Today we have a new student." She gestured towards the door, where a girl stood at the entrance. The girl didn't look like anyone Marinette had seen before other than the girl she bumped into a few seconds ago. 

The girl had orange eyes, pale skin, and black hair that was braided into one big braid. The girl's hair was so long, Marinette could have swore that it lightly touched the ground. The girl had ripped white grey-ish jeans and a black hoodie on. The one thing that stood out was the key chain that the girl hid in her hair. She couldn't see what it was. 

"Would you like to introduce yourself?" asked Ms. Bustier. The girl smiled kindly. 

"I'm Kirina, but you can just call me Kiri." Kirina spoke. 

"Kirin, or whatever is a strange name." chuckled Chloe. Kirina seemed to lower her head when Chloe laughed. Ayla was obviously not pleased with Chloe. 

Ayla whispered to Mari, "I can already tell who's going to be Chloe's next 'toy'." 

Marinette responded, "Well, then we'll have to fill her in on Chloe, later." Ayla nodded in agreement. 

"Kirina, you can sit next to Ivan." Ms. Bustier said. Kirina nodded. She slowly made her way to the back, flinching at Chloe's smirk along the way. 

During lunch(or recess I don't know XD) 

Kirina sat at a bench by herself. Rose and Mylene were the first to come up to her. 

"Hi!" Rose said cheerily. Kirina smiled at her. Mylene was the first to say something. 

"Uh, during class," she began, "I noticed that you were upset when Chloe laughed at your name." 

"Um, yeah," Kirina said, "I wasn't expecting it." 

"Well, you're going to have to expect that, Chloe is going to be pretty mean." spoke Ayla. Marinette followed behind her. Juleka joined the little crowd around Kirina. 

"Kirina, right?" Marinette spoke up, "I'm Marinette." 

"It's nice to meet you," Kirina smiled. 

Marinette thought she could see the mysterious object in the girl's hair but it was covered by that long hair. 

On another note, where did Adrien go? Apparently the model boy caught a case of chicken pox and was at bed, home sick. So much for going to school to see Adrien.

Hey I hope you guys liked the prologue! I tried my best to make it interesting. On that note, I was wondering if you guys would like me to update one chapter at a time or two or more at a time. The downside would be that the two or more at a time would take slightly longer. The one chapter at a time would be a little while but not as long as two at a time. 

Let me know if you guys want me to update two or more at a time or one at a time.
